“5- Stars here!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2013

The Hotel Tiber is about 15 minutes from Rome's airport. It is obviously brand new, sleek, modern, gorgeous view of Tiber River and Mediterranean. Breakfast was a full buffet, eggs, bacon, sausages, cereals, yogurts, and a complete bakery to choose from. We were able to access Fox News and MLB channels (made hubby happy!). Neighborhood is a fishing village and from our balcony it was really fun to watch the fishing boats unload their catches at the end of the day. Dining is available from a take-out pizza place to local restaurants, mostly featuring seafood. The open-air market was in full swing on the Sunday when we arrived. The shuttle to the airport was right on time. We heard there could be a problem getting a taxi to take you TO the hotel since it's so close and they can make a lot more $$$ driving folks into Rome. We went there from directly from a cruise ship with Bob's Limos (also a great resource).

Room Tip: We think all rooms face Tiber River and Mediterranean, be sure to ask.

We picked the hotel because of all the great reviews here and were happy to realise that the reccomendations were correct.
We arrived at 10 pm after a long day and flight on our way to a vacation in the Amalfi Coast and this was a good begining. The hotel is new and modern, rooms are relatively big, the Wifi worked smoothly.
Breakfast was served on the top floor with lovely views of the Tiber and sea.
The only negative issue is the restaurant, maybe because it was late, there was no connection between the description on the menu and what we received.

After some bad, expensive hotels near FCO, it was a joy to find this charming hotel. It is clean, modern, friendly, and beautifully situated. Don't think twice about staying here. It has shuttle service to FCO. The rooftop pool is beautiful.

Room Tip: 402 views the sea.

We needed to return to Rome at the end of our month's travel...and needed a night's accommodation near Rome airport. We'd booked the Hilton at the airport (and paid for it!)...they weren't prepared to change the night and the new booking would have been over $320 AUD! Ouch! So we looked elsewhere...what a great surprise. Lovely setting, clean hotel, efficient staff, fast shuttle to the airport which was close by. To think one week ago we were sitting watching the sun go down from their rooftop bar...as the fishing fleets were returning to dock...watching the antics of the local restaurateurs' picking up their boxes of fresh fish...and all the hullabaloo of docking etc...we wandered down the dockside road and chose a local osteria cucina for our last night in Rome...on the menu? Fresh fish of course...a bottle of vino locale rossi...perfect. We walked the 200 metres back to the hotel...slept like logs...with the balcony door open and the sea breeze freshening the room...great breaky the next morning (with eggs!)...and picked up at 9.00 am sharp for an efficient shuttle service all for 6 euro! Bargain..oh and did I mention we got to visit Ostia Antica the old Roman Port town just a few kms away...what a great end to our trip.

This is a modern hotel located not too far from Rome airport. We stayed there night before our plane trip back to U.S. Has a shuttle service to airport at a charge of 6 EU per person. Buffet breakfast was very good and plentiful. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. WIFI was included and worked well. Nice view overlooking water. Would stay there again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking water and on floor 4.

The hotel was well situated overlooking the Tiber Mouth and Marina. For an airport hotel it was fantastic. The hotel itself was obviously quite new, ver clean, comfortable and elegant. With a roof top pool and an efficient airport shuttle bus. The area was pleasant and I guess you could spend even a weekend here. We were on a stopover between cruise and home and it was an ideal place to wind down from the city of Rome and the cruise before getting back to reality.

There was nothing I didnt like. We were lucky enougth to secure a room with a balcony overlooking the Marina. I think the food choices in the Bistro were limited though, but the breakfast included in the price was more than adequate and served in the rooftop restaurant with panoramic views .

Stayed here there night before our flight. Great hotel right on the harbor with a neat view. Very clean, staff was FANTASTIC (Manager saved me 10E from a "cab driver" who was trying to rip me off) and everything was clean.
