“Like staying with family!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2013

My family of 4 only stayed 1 night at Albis but it was the best B&B we have stayed in Italy! We really felt like we were staying with family. The owners Armando and his wife Roberta are truly nice people who take great pride in their business, going out of their way to take care of every need of their guests. When we got lost finding the B&B at night, Armando came out on his scooter to retrieve us! The next morning he led us to FCO airport (10 minutes away) to make sure we found it. Roberta makes a full breakfast you will not forget- it was excellent!- served to us on cloth tabletop on the patio. They even made sure we had something to bring with us to eat on our trip back home. The room was huge, spotless and extremely comfortable with attention to every detail: Air conditioning already on awaiting our arrival, stocked fridge with everything inside complimentary, even slippers in 4 individual bundles with the towels, each tied together with a ribbon! Plenty of safe parking on the property, or Armando will pickup and drop off at FCO. My daughters were so sad to leave but we will definitely be back! There is no better place to stay near FCO.

The owners are super. They got up at 4 Am to fix a great breakfast and also panini to take with us! They were welcoming and very helpfull in directions to and from airport. The bb was easy to find for us. It is a few minutes by foot from fiumicino center where you can take a short walk or eat at restaurants. The room had flat screen TV, ac, and all you could think of (soap, toothbrush, and lots more)! The room was really clean. It had a shared fridge (with water and juice offered).private parking.... what else for sure a place i would want to go back too!

We stayed in the Albis only one night, but we couldn't forget it. The owners were very frendly. The fridge was stocked with free drinks and room was clean and comfortable. It seemed to be like home. The breakfast, home made, is served every hour even at four o'clock in the night. We truly recomend it!!

We stayed at the Albis for one night last week for our last day in Italy. The Albis was such a wonderful place to stay. Armando and Roberta were so friendly and accommodating - they made us feel welcomed and at home right away. Armando picked us up from the airport (transfers from the airport are included in the cost of the room) and helped us get settled.

The room was trendy and spotlessly clean. The fridge was stocked with drinks, there are a table and chairs and we had a private patio area outside. The Albis is across from a lovely park and a short walk from downtown and the pier.
In the morning, breakfast was brought to our room to enjoy at our leisure. It was above and beyond any place we had stayed. There were fresh pastries, toasted sandwiches, a pitcher of orange juice, tea and cappuccino. And that was just to start - then Armando brought in the bacon and eggs and toast. Everything was so delicious!

With Armando and Roberta's gracious hospitality and lovely accommodations, we highly recommend a stay at the Albis.

We spent our last night in Italy at Albis B&B. We were flying in from Sicily and needed to be near the airport for our early moring flight home the next day. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Armando and Roberta were such gracious hosts - there when we needed them, but out of sight when we didn't. All the little extras were so special - the snacks and beverages in the refrigerator, the "necessities" in the bathroom, and the cleanliness of the rooms. It was a relaxing way to spend our last night in Italy as we walked the short, safe distance to town and along the river and watched the boats and fishermen, then had a nice dinner outside along the river. The next morning we awoke to a wonderful breakfast, with wrapped sandwiches to enjoy at the airport for our long travel home! We walked past the larger hotel that we almost made reservations at and were so happy with our choice of Albis instead. The larger hotel was more expensive, didn't provide a free breakfast, and did not provide free transfer to and from the airport. Armando and Roberta are the best! Will definitely end our next trip to Italy in the same way.
