4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2013

Stayed here last year, had no issues then. Comfortable room and pleasant staff. Easy broadband.
Two night stay as had two redeye flights. Breakfast, typical Italian - no real fruit juice, but OK. taxis organised without drama. Disabled freindly too.

I stayed at Hotel Seccy on the last night of a trip to Rome because I had a very early flight from Fiumicino the following morning. It is a quick 5-10 minute (15 euro) taxi ride away. The building is simple, very clean, and comfortable. My room was plain but clean and comfortable with a modern bathroom and good shower - they also provide slippers which was a nice amenity since the floors are all tile. The staff is absolutely lovely... friendly, gracious, and professional. Breakfast comes with the room but since I was leaving too early, I didn't expect to have anything. As I was getting into my pre-arranged car service, the clerk handed my a package with juice, yogurt (with spoon), and fresh brioche. It totally made my day!

Stayed here during an overnighter to Paris for a connecting flight. Staff were great especially Elvira. Organised meet and greet at FCO which is always a usual nightmare but this time no problem. Hotel very modern and is a boutique type. Close to FCO by taxi. Drawbacks no restaurant but a great place to eat is 100 metres away. I always get an early morning ride and a packed b'fast is provided. Rooms excellent. I usually stay at the hilton but it is now my second choice after here!

Staff were helpful: when we needed to leave just before breakfast opened, the receptionist offered to get it open a few minutes early, and told us that we could use the (pay) shuttle, but that a taxi would be cheaper for the five of us. Breakfast was fine if not exciting. Just what we needed before our flight out.

I stayed here the final night of my trip. It was New Year's Day and the staff was kind enough to find a restaurant open for me to have dinner. It was a few blocks away, next to the river and had wonderful pizza. The hotel was very pretty inside and very quiet. The staff could not have been more amenable. I would definitely stay here again.

We wanted to spend a night closer to the airport and read good reviews of this hotel on Tripadvisor. For the three of us, we paid 150 euros for a small room that had three single beds lined up in a row. The beds were so tight together that it was difficult to walk between them. There was little room to fit any suitcases. The bedspreads looked worn and dated. Our room (104) looked out onto a garage. Our room looked nothing like any of the rooms that are pictured. The complimentary breakfast was barely edible. There were cold cut up hotdogs, hard pastries, some cold meat/cheese, juice and coffee. The cab to the airport was a standard 15 euros.
The town looked dreary as well. I would not even consider recommending this hotel.

Room Tip: Room 104 should be avoided unless you like reliving your days in the dorm.

We stayed here one night before embarking on a cruise. Although we arrived almost two hours prior to the designated check-in, the hotel staff was more than happy to accomodate us. We stayed in a standard room, which even though small, contained everything we needed. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable enough. There was even a robe and slippers. The breakfast in the morning was varied enough that we both left satified. Furthermore, the hotel staff helped us arrange a tour with someone they personally knew to be friendly and reliable. They were right - the tour was amazing! Overall, we had a very pleasurable stay. You can't beat the value either.
