“Unbeatable serenity and warm, delightful staff!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 days ago NEW

My friend and I stayed for about a week and it was truly incredible. The pool is fabulous; the hammocks were cozy; it was very private; we felt over the top safe (no need to even lock stuff up). The guard and GM were super welcoming and we had a chance to meet the owners, who came into town later in our stay. LOVED them too!! It's an quick, 8-minute walk to the beach; it's a nice refreshing walk to Playa Giones for good surf and amazing restaurants. This is a true hideaway for peace and relaxation. We loved having a kitchen and so much space, particularly since we did quite a bit of cooking to save money on dining. They have everything you need, including tupperware to store uneaten food in the fridge. They've thought of everything! They also happily accepted our late night check-in.

Room Tip: I'm a big fan of the top floor. We enjoyed Suite A but the other top floor suite is in the back...

We stayed at the Teak Pacific Hotel in February, right around Valentine's day. The place was simple, but has absolutely everything you need. The rooms were spacious, with a living room/kitchen area with a little dining table and a breakfast bar. It had a small kitchen that allowed for cooking small meals if you wish. The bedroom had A/C and plenty of space. The bathroom was a comfortable size and most importantly was very clean. The whole room was very clean. It's not overly ornate, or fancy, it's simple but you'll find nothing lacking (except maybe a coffee maker... more on that later).
What I love most about the Teak Pacific Hotel was the staff. They were so kind and attentive. They offer a small breakfast every morning, we never made it, but a member of their team, a little later after they knew we were up, would bring us a plate of fruit and some juice to enjoy. Also, one night, we were in desperate need of a coffee maker. The rooms don't have one but we asked the gentleman who attends at night and he was kind enough to loan us the one they use to make coffee in the morning. We were able to borrow it, make our coffee and then return it even though it was pretty late at night.
The property of the hotel is very close to the beach, just a short walk from Playa Pelada, which is a Blue Flag beach. It was incredibly beautiful and only had a few other people, we pretty much had it to ourselves. This was one of the best features of the area, even though you saw some people, you never felt like it was crowded, it was quiet, peaceful and very private. We also visited Playa Guiones a little ways away and it was way more commercial, with a lot of stores and people everywhere. If that's what you're into, you may want to consider that area.
The Hotel doesn't do lunch and dinner but there are a couple of great restaurants within walking distance although I think you'll find it easier to have your own vehicle. You'll need a 4WD SUV to get to the Nosara area. There's a great restaurant, right on the beach, called La Luna. It's close by and is the best place to see what will likely be the greatest sunset you've ever experienced. Nights there are stunning as well because you hear the ocean and can see an abundance of stars.
I highly recommend the Teak Pacific Hotel and the entire area in general. It's quiet, beautiful and I'm sure you'll love it, I'm definitely going back.

Room Tip: Try to get a second floor room. Some rooms are near walkways so you hear the people passing by and t...

What a wonderful little gem. We returned from a one week stay In Costa Rica. Taking a few days in a few different towns. The Teak Pacific was by far our favorite!! The rooms were beautiful, clean little mini apartments close to the beach and town. I cant say enough about how wonderfully we were treated and how safe we felt here. My son loved the pool and the wildlife. Perfect:) Cant wait to return for a much longer stay in Nosera!

I was so please with my stay here. It was very spacious, a full kitchen, and had AC in the bedroom, and super clean. not to mention how comfortable the bed, was I slept like a baby! I was also happy to have breakfast and coffee waiting for me in the morning, without even expecting it... Matteo is such a great host, and was super helpful with everything. He showed me around town to get me familiar with the area, and even gave me a ride to the airport. There are a couple of great restaurants in walking distance, the beach is just down the road, and the area is really quiet and secluded. Really makes you feel like you're in a magical place. I highly recommend staying here!

A group of us visited Teak Pacific for a 10 day working mission trip. The Teak Pacific provided us with wonderful, relaxing atmosphere following a hard day of work. The pool was very refreshing. Loved how close it was to the beach. The rooms are very clean and maintained. It was an added bonus to have a refrigerator in each unit. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Also enjoyed the beautiful landscape -- plants, animals, birds. Within a short walking distance, The Teak Pacific was located very near to the best gelato stand ever!. My recommendation the lemon flavor. I would highly recommend the Teak Pacific to families.

Room Tip: We stayed in the upper unit in the back. I don't believe it was any quieter than any other uni...

Our first impression of the Nosara area was not good. The roads are bad, the prices are high, and there are no road signs to help you find your destinations. We looked for almost an hour for the Teak Pacific..finally just happening upon it by accident. We really liked Mateo and the staff at the Teak. They were helpful, kind, and professional. The hotel is in the jungle and just a short walk to the beach. There is a gelato shop, and Italian and Mexican restaurants within walking distance also. We were thoroughly entertained by Howler Monkeys, geckos, tropical birds and other "critters" playing around the hotel grounds. Unfortunately, a water pipe burst in Nosara the week we were there, and we had very little water pressure during the day, and none at night. (Work crews shut it off at night trying to repair it). The pump they used was too small and did not supply the needs of the area sufficiently..the new, larger pump that was coming from the USA, did not arrive while we were there. We "suffered" through the inconvenience of not being able to flush toilets, or shower later in the evening, or first thing in the morning. Mateo had bottled water delivered so we could freshen up and brush our teeth after 8pm, and before 8 am.

The rooms and pool area are decent..nothing luxurious. Only one fan in the bedroom..not quite enough for the warm nights.. No where near sufficient for the hot days..good thing we were not spending any time in the room. Bed was average comfort, only one nightstand. We borrowed another from an unoccupied room, and another fan for the living area at night.

Room Tip: They are all about the same..maybe more air/breeze in an upper room..we liked the upper room better...
