We have been eating at Rosi's for several years on our annual vacation to Nosara. We love it! Great gallo pinto breakfasts, lovely fresh juice smoothies. And much less pricey than other Playa Guiones options. Go before 10 AM to avoid the post-surfing breakfast crowd -- seating is limited. We enjoy sitting at the counter & watching how the ladies cook everything.

Juices are fresh and outstanding. Open air dining in a 5-table (and 7-seat counter) joint just above the dusty road into Guiones. Tico run, it looks like three humble mamas doing their thing. Eat the casados, they will run you about 2900 colones and are worth much more. Be patient, the local workers get priority service.

Costa Rica is not known for its cuisine, but I must admit that I was a bit disappointed after reading all the reviews of Rosi's. We stopped by for lunch and I had the vegetarian casado. Meh. It was okay, but nothing to really brag about. Others in my family got other casados, but nobody talked on the way home about how delicious it was, so I think they felt like I did.

Rosi's is good, simple Tico food served at reasonable prices. The wait can vary but the food is fresh. We like it and its a good value.
