“Truly inspiring!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2014 via mobile

We couldn't have asked for a better experience to wrap up our trip in this beautiful country. Steve and Vicki are such humble people who are doing amazing things to help the native wildlife return to there natural habitat once again.

We toured their amazingly lush property, learned about their important mission and got to meet the beautiful animals in their care. But the greatest thing we took away from our experience at SIBU is being able to become a voice to spread the word and educate the future generations.

Thank you so very much for letting us be a part of your cause!

“Go here - it will be fun for the whole family”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 29, 2014

We had a tour with the owners. Very impressive to see how they are giving back to the world. It did humble us when we see how wasteful we are with our time and money.
Its a beautiful tour and you get to see the monkeys and other wildlife. You also hear about the problems such as monkeys being electrocuted.
There is a little bit of neo-colonialism in the whole speech so ignore that and focus on the work that is being done

“GREAT PLEACE”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 27, 2014

Wonderful learning experience. I would go again in a heartbeat. These people are working so hard to do what they can to help Costa Rica's Wildlife. If I had a million dollars I would be happy to donate it to them.

“Educational, meaningful and heart-warming”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2014

Vicki and Steve are dedicated, inspirational and very friendly. They've created a tree house of a home for themselves above a habitat for orphaned and/or injured monkeys, many of whom are young. The reasons for rescuing the monkeys are heartbreaking. Please visit their sanctuary, donate time or money to their cause, and spread the word among your family friends that SIBU needs their help. That's the least any of us can do to help these incredible people with their wonderful cause.

“Inspirational...educational and a labor of love!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2014

Sibu Sanctuary is a must see! The work that Steve, Vicki and their volunteers do to help countless injured and orphaned animals is quite amazing. I really enjoyed hearing about their personal journey, taking a hike around the property and most of all, experiencing first hand the labor of love that is their work. Really quite incredible. A second chance at life for so many animals. Beautiful....

My only hope is that more people experience the efforts of these passionate people and support them in any way you can!
