Loved the homemade ice cream. Great spot for relaxing and enjoying a treat. Yum! Nice outdoor tables to sit and chat.

“good food, high prices, rude owner”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2014

i was at robins several times, the food is special, really good, healthy and a good variation to the most menus in town. it's quite pricey anyway and i must say the owner should really not be there serving her customers. she is rude with no reasons. the icecream is good also but if it's just for a treat go to seekretspot for a friendly stuff and real gelato.

“The best food around”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2014

Robin has the most amazing food around. I ate there as much as I could so I could try as many of her dishes that I could. She offers raw and vegetarian food, beautifully presented. Eating there is a gift. Her ice cream is also a must!

“Amazing café with an emphasis on homemade quality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2014

I stayed in Nosara for 4 days and ended up at Robin's each afternoon. Twice for lunch, and ice cream every afternoon. It's honestly that good. The breakfast and lunch options are all healthy, organic, and delicious. But the homemade ice cream and fruit sorbets are the real prize. Highly recommended!

“Delicious - and healthy, for a change!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2014

After days of heavy rice dishes and pastas, I was getting a bit tired of being vegetarian in Costa Rica. And then I stumbled into heaven, in a little storefront in Nosara. Not only is all their fare deliciously fresh and light, but it's also mostly veg. and vegan! Day one, I tried a mora smoothie with no added sugars or flavors, which made me feel totally detoxed and refreshed after just a few sips. We paired that with some raw food pad thai rolls, which were crispy and delicious and came paired with a fabulously complex sauce.

The next day we stopped back in for shelter from the rain and ended up getting ice cream. Their "coffee to wake the dead" is appropriately named, because I felt like I'd died and been reborn the second I tasted it. I ended up going back for more, this time sampling the sorbet - a creamy, out-of-this-world mora and a crisp, refreshing passionfruit.

First-rate food, a great atmosphere - like a little oasis in the middle of the tourist town. Can't rave enough about the ice cream. Five stars!
