“Great Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2012

Truly amazing food and excellent service with an awesome view of the beach, the drinks were good and the pizzas are too. Out waiter was very informative about the area and even filled us in on good local surf spots. Nothing took too long to come out and the portion sizes are huge, I could barley finish everything on my plate, plus dessert was excellent. I went home full of wonderful moderately priced food.

“Lunch after zip lining in nosara.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2012 via mobile

We ordered 5 pizzas all were fresh, hot and delicious. Our drinks la lunatica- spin on a pins colada was great. What made the drinks even better is they were free thanks to the coupon Carolina gave us at Miss sky canopy tour.

“View for Sunsets almost offsets the Pricing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2012

The view out over the beach for the sunset, almost makes the astronomical cost of this restaurant worthwhile. The food is quality, but portions are small for what you pay. Everything I tasted was delicious, but I left hungry. Really recommend the pizzas and the meditteranean appetizer. Very savory. A nice place to go for a snack and a nice drink with friends for sunset. If you're famished and need a big serving, go somewhere else. Another plus side: the service was some of the best I've seen in Costa Rica.

“A cut above the rest”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2012

What a lovely find. We were there last night for dinner. Beautiful setting: Mediterranean-style decor, with the sound of the surf a stone's throw away. Excellent food: wide choice, unusual dishes, and superbly presented. And great service from our host. All in all a cut above the rest of the restaurants we have tried during our two week stay here, and we will be going back for our last dinner of the holiday, arriving at 5.45 for sunset cocktails before dinner as suggested. A must do.

“Beautiful. Always.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2012

Make reservations. Go there at 3 pm. Stay through sunset and into the night.

Located just up the dune from the waves in Playa Pelada (just south of the town of Nosara, just north of Guiones beach), this sandy, breezy, restaurant is a must-do experience if you're staying in the area. The menu is Mediterranean, so you'll find an amazing hummus plate, excellent pizzas, and of course, an amazing salsa/guac/beans plate.

The atmosphere was really always my whole point in going, but the food quality is also outstanding.
