“Driving you Nuts”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2009

Nah seriously the railway ride up the hill is funny even though the train is cramped if full, The Eyefull Tower at the top is awfully ricketty but lovely views from the top, the downside is you only get 10 minutes at the top. FORGET THE POTTERY it is overly Priced and nothing to look at

“Amazing place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2009

Amazing trees, amazing little home-made trains, amazing tunnels, amazing views, amazing what the drive and determination of a handful of people and one man in particular can achieve. The commentary is good the jokes good and it's just interesting at every turn.
All it needs is even the slightest effort at refreshments and it would be even better. Be wary of technical discussions about the train with the driver 'cos he probably built the whole darn thing from scratch.
You would be a total fool to travel this far round the world and not visit Driving Creek Railway.

“Well worth it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2009

This railway is a testimony to the will of one man. It is awesome. The views, the commentary and the experience all combine to make it an excellent outing. Knowing that your entrance fee is going to conservation and planting of native trees helps too.
It takes about an hour and a half. Book in advance through the isite. Only a small amount of walking which is optional and good opportunities for photos from wherever you sit in the trains.
