Nasty place. Hair in the bed.
None of the lights worked. Toilet when flushed filled apartment with sewer gas smell. We checked out after an hour or so....

If you are thinking of staying at this hotel I would recommend that you find somewhere else to stay. The only way that you would consider this hotel would be if you arrived late and needed somewhere to stay before going to your hotel the next day. My advice would be to get a taxi straight to your hotel, not bothering with this really quite bad hotel.

I stayed for two nights at the end of December whilst I waited for my brother to arrive. I wish that I'd made the effort to book a hotel in Soufriere or somewhere else - more in taxi fares but worth the effort.

Yes, the staff are quite friendly, but the rooms are very basic, the breakfast rubbish and the restaurant is over priced with average food. The pool is awful, and the ground floor of the hotel overlooking the pool is literally derelict.

The only good thing was the view from the room, which was pretty good, but you are in St Lucia so it would be.

All in all a very basic hotel that will be a waste of your money. St Lucia has so much more to offer. I really can't imagine that anyone would like this hotel, and you certainly couldn't bear it for more than one night.

A late flight arrival prompted us to look for a hotel close to the airport to spend one night before heading on to our resort destination nearly 1.5 hours drive away. After checking reviews on TripAdvisor, we selected this place -- never again. For nearly $100US, hot water would have been nice. Restaurant was closed when we arrived, so we'd requested a light meal or sandwich from the bar -- which turned out to be one cold grilled cheese sandwich for the two of us (cheese and bread, nothing else) at a cost of $15. Our room was sort of clean, but run down, without even a mattress cover under the sheets -- we slept with our clothes on, worried about bugs (fortunately, no bites). Breakfast was standard, and at least the hotel provides Internet access (hello, fancy resorts) but next time we'll spend the money to go to a higher class of hotel.

The best part about this hotel is the kind staff! They were very nice and even those who didn't need to help us such as grounds keeper, would go out of his way to get us what we needed. It was nice having a free breakfast, bar and restaurant on site. The beach was just a short walk away, and the room had a TV with MANY familiar channels. There was also Wifi in the room but it was very spotty. We stayed in the two bedroom apartment and it was spacious. If I compared Juliette's Lodge to say a Motel 6 I would give it 1 star. There were cockroaches, ants and apparently bed bugs in the room as I am now breaking out in painful bites. Every day the maid would come make our beds but would not change the sheets. I do not know if they were changed in the two weeks we were there. I knew because there was sand in the sheets each night. I was considering it a posible place to return to, but now since I have been bitten 100 times with bed bugs from there, I think I will pass on future visits. One good thing is it is very close to the airport! Also, the frogs outside in the trees are so noisy, don't expect to sleep well the first couple of nights or bring ear plugs!
