“Great short stay hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2012

We had never stayed at a premier inn before, so didn't know what to expect.

We needn't have worried, the room was clean, and very comfy.

A lovely double bed was our base for the night, and a flat screen telly on the wall, which was tuned to all the main channels.

We had a very nice meal in the restaurant, which was well worth the money that we spent,
The serving staff took time out to ask if everything was ok.

Having booked and stayed here a few times now for early morning flights, this, in my opinion is the best, value for money hotel nearest to the airport as its literally a 5min walk over to the terminal. The rooms are very clean, the staff are very helpful and friendly and the bar/restaurant offers typical pub chain fayre however the meals are cooked to order and we were not disappointed with the fast, efficient service although be advised to book a table for dinner, if you don't, be prepared to eat around 9pm-10pm, which is not great when you have children or need an early night. Without a doubt, best value for money for Newcastle airport.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on 3rd floor then you won't hear anyone above you in the night.

We stayed at this hotel as we were going to Newcastle for a concert. On arrival, the recption staff made us very welcome and we quickly checked in and our room was ready. In our room, we found it to be very clean, spacious and the facilities were excellent. The bed was a little firm but we managed to have a good nights sleep. The following morning, we had breakfast in the restaurant - what a choice! Everything was cooked fresh and we could eat as much as we wanted from cereal to a full English. Even the coffee was Costa! Overall, every member of the team made us welcome, the value for money was fantastic and the location is great as it is about 100 yds from the Metro.

This is a great value hotel that offer the features of higher priced ones. The room was very clean, comfortable but took a while to warm up. The food was good for the price and ALL the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: Sorry, there was no swimmong pool but this silly site does not allow you to change it once you have...

I travel a lot for work and stay at Permier Inns whenever i can. The standard of room is consistent - not luxurious but very comfortable and always spotlessly clean. The thing that really always impresses me about the hotels is that no matter which location you are at, the staff are unfailingly outgoing and professional and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. This was the case here when i stayed in 2011.

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel the past 2 years. We have stayed the night before flying to Lanzarote and the night we arrived back. Because we did this, we were able to park our car free for the 3 weeks we were away on holiday, which was a great saving.

The hotel staff are very friendly, the meals are very good and the breakfasts are very good also. The rooms are quite spacious and clean and the beds are very comfortable too.

Even though it is only a 5-minute walk from the hotel to the airport, it is not at all noisy.

I booked into this hotel with my husband for one night before an early flight. Lovely staff, food and room, couldn't have asked for a better airport hotel. Thank you for a perfect start to our holiday.
