Stopped here last week room was quite pleasent
No mini bar as advertised
A couple of black hairs on the white bedding and me and the wife are blonde
Tried to connect to wifi and couldnt wasnt until next day we were told we need a password we didnt know
We also had to park over the way in the airport because no parking left
We dined in fratellos which was lovely but because we were casually dressed the restaurant manager seemed to look down his nose but rest of staff lovely

The hotel is excellently located being over the road from the airport terminal with its metro station. It's about 25 minutes via metro direct into the centre of Newcastle and 55 mins to Sunderland/Stadium of Light should, like I did, you have tickets for the football over there.

Room was fine with a nice bathroom. Heard plane noise once or twice but no major problems.

Breakfast in the restaurant was very nice. For some reason Sunday morning there was no hot part of the buffet but without any prompting they offered to make up to order anything that I would like so I had some very nice poached eggs. Staff from reception and elsewhere in the hotel were very friendly and pleasant throughout and I received my complimentary warm cookie.

Highly recommended overall.

Having a very early flight from Newcastle Airport we decided to overnight at this hotel beforehand because of its location a short walk from the airport terminal, which is ideal.

Everything about the hotel was a real pleasure. The building is smart and welcoming, the bedroom was spacious, modern, comfortable and clean and a good en-suite too. The reception staff were friendly and helpful with check-in/check-out efficient and speedy. Even though the hotel is close to the terminal there was absolutely no problem with aircraft noise at all.

By taking advantage of the book ahead no refund option the room rate was great value for money too.

This hotel will definitely be the one to stop in for any early flights from Newcastle in the future.

We stayed here unexpectedly for 2 nights between xmas and new year. It's a fairly new hotel and is lovely and clean. The rooms are on the bigger side but the bathroom, although really lovely is on the small side.
We checked out the restaurant but the menu was quite basic with mainly pizza/pasta dishes with a few other choices so we decided to eat at a local pub we know. The bar also does traditional'bar' meals. We went into the bar for a drink though and was pleasantly surprised to find live music. We REALLY enjoyed the artist. The barman did me a 'Long Island Iced Tea which wasn't actually on the menu too. Great friendly service without a huge price tag - £6.
Although we wouldn't have need to use this hotel as we live near to the airport anyway, I have no hesitation in recommending it if you have to travel and have an early flight.
Ooh, by the way, you get a warm cookie on arrival!
