Each visit is a pleasant surprise!
A couple of weeks ago or so, I wrote a review over the Square restaurant but they didn’t publish it, because, and I am quoting them “Over the years, we have learned that reviews without a substantive account of the traveller's experience are not very helpful to other travellers”. I am a computer consultant. I travel frequently and to Brighton on a regular base. Here I discovered a very nice little restaurant, where they have an amazing cook, but also the service and atmosphere are outstanding. I didn’t have time to write more detailed review, but this weekend I have so I am writing a new review.
Last weekend I was in Brighton. I was invited to dinner thereafter I was still hungry and went to the Square restaurant. I ordered a dessert and my acquaintance Sameer, works for the local city Hospital, ordered “Pollo Alfredo” £6.95, a chicken linguine in a very delicious sauce with fresh tomatoes and herbs, Sameer also had an Apple juice £2.00, my dessert was “Apple Pie” £5.95. I also had Cappuccino £2.00. Total was £16.90 + £3.10 =total £ 20 for an excellent meal, dessert and two drinks. Last time I had “Pollo funghi” it was £10.95, which was grilled chicken fillet on a rosy sauce with mushrooms and fresh tarragon, everything just melted in my mouth and the chicken, even though it was grilled, yet was very juicy, grilled to perfection.
This week I am busy in Harrow, London, but next weekend I have a couple of appointments in Hove and Brighton and I will most definitely go to the Square restaurant to try another new dish. In short and the most I like about the Square restaurant is that it is Italian and not like some other restaurants that they call their selves Italians and their menu has Asian or south American food, and on the side they have a couple of Pizzas and pasta dishes!
I strongly recommend the Square restaurant, it is like a 4 star restaurant that I can afford!
