“No frills but nice enough”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2014

We stayed here for 1 night at the start and end of our cycling tour. Parking is free for the week. The rooms are quite spacious and the bed very comfortable. We booked a room on the quiet side of the hotel but were given one on the side facing the motorway. With the patio doors closed the noise level from the road was quite acceptable but it was not so pleasant when sitting on the balcony facing the busy road. There is a coffee machine in the room but only 1 sachet of coffee, sufficient to make 2 small cups was available. If you asked for more you had to pay for them. There is no kettle to make tea. Drinks in the bar are expensive. We enjoyed a decent, if somewhat expensive, evening meal in the restaurant, expect to pay c. 70-100 euros for 2 courses with a bottle of wine. It is a 10 min walk to town if you want to look for somewhere else to eat. There are good local cycle routes. I recommend the circular route north towards Utrecht and the waterlands; you can do a lovely 50km route.

Room Tip: Ask for one on the quiet side not facing the motorway

I had stayed in this hotel for a week, i had chosen this hotel since it was the closest hotel to the Bunnik business park situated near the highway.

Rooms are modern and clean, Room service was good . Though i felt basic thing like an microwave was missing in the room . Hotel staff was also not keen to heat the food in the kitchen microware .

Recommended only if you want a stay near Bunnik Business Park

A great hotel with friendly staff. Food excellent. Staff were brilliant when one of our party had to be rushed to hospital. They were cool, calm & collected but also very sympathetic and helpful whilst comforting the person. well done!

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights this summer. Despite checking in late into the evening the staff were helpful and friendly, even offered to arrange food to be delivered as the restaurant had closed. Room was compact, really modern and clean, enough space for 2 adults clothing etc. En suite bathroom was beautifully presented, very spa-like, walk in shower superb. Staff couldn't do enough to help. Breakfast provided lots of choice, perfect set-up for the day.

Room Tip: despite being near the highway rooms are very quiet

Close to the highway it gives you a good starting point for daily business.
The hotel is modern and services are good.
Rooms are simple but comfortable.
Good breakfast and kind staff.
Sometimes they got some issue with other booking services, but thanks to the availability of rooms they always fixed the mishap

The hotel is nice and very modern (renovated). The staff was friendly and helpfull and even called us after 15 minutes to ask if everything was oké in our room. The room we booked was small but comfortable, certainly good enough for one night. If you wanted to sit down and relax there was the spacious public area available. The room was very clean. The location was perfect, close to the highway and close to Utrecht. Good value for money.

Nice, spotless clean ultra modern hotel. Clearly newly renovated. The design details, cocoon chairs, big fireplaces and a vast open plan feel was "Real Cool", can't put it much better. Beds were extremely comfy and the bathroom was incredibly spa-like with a rain style walk in shower. Staff were friendlier than any of the three hotels I stayed at in Utrecht itself. Would not really recommend it if you are over to visit Utrecht, although in terms of value for money it is definitely worth considering. Only drawback was the expensive "non-inclusive" breakfast and the very odd dining experience my colleagues and I had when we had dinner there one evening during our stay. The food was all wrong and made no sense, the menu offered meal deals but we were never brought the sides we asked for and we had to constantly ask for items that were missing but I'll just put that down to "misunderstandings" as my colleagues who stayed a few days longer did not have any particular issues with food subsequently. Definitely one I can recommend, simply forgot to review this one at the time!

Room Tip: Rooms with windows facing the back seem quieter in terms of road noise from the motorway on the othe...
