We opted for tapas rather than going into the restaurant - there are two separate halves to the business. It wasn't too quiet considering it was a Sunday evening. We struggled to read the menu because the lighting was so subdued and it was only in Spanish and Dutch. Luckily I know my way around a tapas menu so it wasn't a problem. The wine menu was limited but the Chilean Chardonnay was acceptable if not what I would normally drink. Six tapas plus bread with garlic mayonnaise was ample for two of us. It was fresh and well prepared - my only tiny niggle was that my calamares, whilst not at all chewy, was over cooked. The batter was a little dark for my liking. The manchego cheese was excellent - just the right amount of nuttiness. Good meatballs and very tasty pork was let down only very slightly by the fact that the chicken and pineapple used processed very thinly sliced chicken. Perhaps just a cultural difference but you would never find it served that way in Spain. We really admired the attention to detail in the decor and the service was very pleasant and efficient. My colleague and i felt it was rather reasonable at under €60 for the two of us - the wine was €24.
