We had dinner at Sjans at a nice summer evening. Food is fresh and plates are made up creatively.The chef is obviously proud of the dishes he produces, and is happy when he sees his guests enjoy themselves.
I can highly recommend the prawns( gamba's) and the steaks and a Dom Pedro as a dessert. Dom Pedro is a kind of adult "milkshake"of vanilla icecream with Kahlua.
In winter one can sit inside near a cosy fire and enjoy the specialities of the season.
At the weekend after the dinner session, the restaurant is transformed into a kind of a "disco". You can enjoy good music and a cocktail from the cocktail bar.
I can highly recommend this restaurant when on Texel!
