We spent a long weekend here (in late April, when the weather was very disappointing) and the hotel was very acceptable. The hotel staff were helpful (particularly in the bar) and the room was fine, with a good large balcony (we had a choice of pool or front view and chose pool, which meant the balcony was quieter but didn't get the sun). Breakfast was OK, though it looked like there was lots of choice when it came down to it there wasn't all that much I wanted - not as good as some Spanish breakfasts - and it didn't start until late (so only tea/coffee and biscuits available before 8am).
The hotel is in a quiet residential area and I can see why people would want to live there (unlike Benidorm). We didn't eat dinner in the hotel - there are several good restaurants nearby.
We took the transfer bus to and from the airport and wished we hadn't - yes it's reasonably priced but we were on the bus from airport to hotel (via the horrors of Benidorm which we went round twice to drop people off) for longer than we were on the plane from UK - which doesn't seem right.
