We have had the delight to dine with Ken and Donald and their excellent staff on a number of occasions and always recommend them to friends visiting anywhere in the region. My wife considers their fillet steak to be the "absolute best" and she is an expert, having tested steaks out from as far apart as New Zealand, going east, all the way back around to Australia!! If you like it 'just pink' then ask for it to be cooked "Al Punto".
I love the fish offering (scallops are supreme!!:) plus they offer the full pork-fest you'd expect in Catalonia - and if you are at all unsure of the selection (including wine!) then James is always on hand to explain, in the politest and most efficient of ways.
My brother is in the restaurant business, also knowing his wines (with his own cellar) - and he refers to Can Roquet as his "favourite eatery in the world" - no finer praise is possible! Finish up with a glass of Don Pedro!:)
Tell the boys (and Janet!) that the people from Villa Shangri-La sent you! You will NOT be disappointed with this choice - I suspect that anything less than great review on here is from the competition, which is average at best, by comparison!!:(
