“Pleasant relaxing hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2012

Four of us stayed in two rooms for one night. We booked this hotel because of its closeness to Barcelona airport. The hotel was easy to find and the parking was easy. The rooms were spacious and clean and the beds very comfortable. Both of our rooms had balconies. The hotel grounds were lovely, with views over Barcelona. The outdoor air conditioning on the terrace made for a relaxing afternoon & evening. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We also ate in the hotel dining room and were really pleased with the food and service. Would certainly stay here again.

We stayed here as an emergency following the French Air Traffic strike and were pleasantly surprised. We arrived at 2am and were booked in efficiently. Our room was on the 2nd floor and was very quiet and clean. Bed was very comfy!! The breakfast is not great but this could have been down to the high number of emergency arrivals during the night. We realised in the morning we had a large balcony and a great terrace view of the town and countryside.

I stayed at the hotel during the Mobile world congress. The hotel is slightly outside Barcelona, but with good pubic transportation.
The hotel rooms are not modern, but clean and silent. I did sleep well there.
The hotel restaurant is OK, but not much more then that. The price however is also not too high. The breakfast does not give that much of a choice, but it is OK
Getting a drink in the bar in the evening when the hotel restaurant is open is a challenge. It can take a long time
Check out took very long. More then 30 minutes, due to some IT issues where the only known solution was to reboot the computer.
All in all, for a night or two it is hotel I can recommend if you are on a tighter budget, or if every half decent hotel inside Barcelona is booked out.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2010

We arrived at 3pm on a saturday and the place was rocking. As well as a hotel this is major function centre. It catered for three weddings on our day there; feeding and entertaining hundreds of people. It also has a disco where I gather the wedding parties kick on to. Noise was a problem up to midnight. However our room was not on the side of the disco. It went from noisy to very quiet. It is likely to be very different midweek.
That warning said it is a good three star hotel if you want to stop over ‘near’ the airport. It is 10km and 15 minutes by taxi. The cost was 24Euros each way for the taxi; a bit more than expected. The hotel is a ‘small oasis’ in a residential suburb of outer Barcelona. It is on a small hill and has good views east and north to Barcelona and the airport. The grounds are pleasant and it has a pool. You have to eat in the hotel as there are few alternatives nearby. However, the food is good with a set three course dinner including drinks for 16E. Breakfast was excellent with good variety (but they seemed to be expecting a lot of customers; not sure if it is the same on quieter nights during the week).
I am not sure who would stay here other than transit passengers and wedding guests. During the week this is good value at 60E. On a week end, I’d look elsewhere.

We are extremely glad you had a nice time with us.

It's true some Saturdays we host events like weddings or banquets, but we try it not to disturb or bother other hotel's guests.

We hope to see you really soon!

We´re spend two nights in this nice hotel during 15-17th april 2010. We have room No. 103. Seems that those rooms are situated under dancing hall. Each one step upstair we hear. During two night we´re pass through two disco. In any case hotel is well situated and staff was werry polite. But owner have to decided if is engadged in hotel business or in disco club.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2008

We spent two nights here in February 2008. It was very nice for a european hotel. Its well decorated, and the staff were helpful and courteous for the most part. We had a nice pre-fix dinner (15 euros) which wasn't the best food we had in Barcelona by any means, but was very good for the price. We found that the lower cost of this hotel compared to those in town paid for a car, which we used to tour wine country close by and travelled to Figueres to visit the Dali museum. The room was reasonably large, although it smelled of smoke. Another issue is that the rooms are not well sound insulated. A neighbor had a bad cough, it sounded like it was coming from our own bathroom at night. The local neighborhood has a few restaurants, although we only found a couple opened on Sunday, and then nowhere to park! Its very close to the airport. Even with morning traffic it took us 15 minutes.

  • Liked — Price, access to wine country and airport
  • Disliked — Smoking
