“Amazing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2013

The price was a little on the high side, but when you like nice food its sometimes worth paying that little bit more. The service was slow and slightly disorganised but the food was worth the wait.

“Birthday Meal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2013

We took friends here for my wife's birthday treat. We found that the waiting staff were friendly and able to advise, unlike a previous review. Possibly because one was from England originally.
The food was good, especially the lamb shoulder, which is really good to share between two (as suggested). There was a good choice of dishes. The starters are a little pricey but good. The place was quite quiet but the service was fine and all in all we would go back again. The location is just outside the main area but is within walking distance or a cheap taxi ride.

“Give it a miss”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2013

We ate here recently. Nicely appointed inside. Only three diners finishing a meal and ourselves. Service extremely slow. Two waitresses who could not answer questions about the food or wine on offer. Ordered a starter of BBQ ribs to share, two small ribs came, quite pricey - nearly nine euro. One main of salmon and one of stuffed chicken. Both were a nice size. Waitress said vegetables and potato came with the main. It did if you looked hard enough! One small canarian potato each and three small pieces of courgette. We ordered side dishes of veg, which added to the bill The wine was also expensive. We paid seventy five euro. We won't be going back

“Wish we had discovered this place earlier !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2013

Situated behind the bus station area, away from the main drag, good views over the little town to the sea. Nice terrace outside. Big glass windows to take advantage of the views.
Don't let the location put you off in terms of slightly off the beaten track this is well worth the visit and the shortish walk from the front.
It's light and airy, tables well spaced, lighting good, chairs/ tables with nice linen, tableware etc. staff attentive, informative, helpful. This place has a good feel to it and was busy with returning customers obviously.
The food is very good, it has to be the best we had in playa blanca. There is an early bird menu, 3 courses for approx 18euros finishes at 7.30pm. We had the a la carte, fish, steak, chicken, lamb and much more, the fish dishes are excellent, the chef clearly knows his business. Starters from pâté to prawns to soup, good choice and different to other places. Mains very good, well cooked, well presented, good accompaniments, the veg sides lovely. What I liked about this place is that it was different food, well away from tourist menu, fine dining with excellent food and doesn't break the bank. It's a big step above the usual menus at the front. The desserts didn't disappoint either.
House wine both the red and white were very good and reasonably priced, in the UK if I ordered a bottle of this quality I'd have to pay probably around £20+++ .
Only regret was this was our last night, wish it had been our first as would have been back !
Take the time to go and find this place.
