“Excellent holiday Lovely hotel.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2013

Arrived back from this hotel yesterday 21-06-2013, overall - very good holiday Hotel is on quite place at the end of Playa Blanca peaceful vacation great for couples. I paid an extra £12 per night for a sea view room ground floor but wished I had 2nd or 3rd floor room due to a lot of people walking pass your hotel room as the walk ways goes from the light house to the center of town which is about an hour & ten minutes walk. The hotel has 200+ rooms block 1 & 2 are on the beach front, then block 3 is be hide this & Block 4 & 5 are at the front of the hotel. Lovely hotel very clean always someone cleaning, the gardens are kept beautiful. The pool area has lots of sun beds no setting alarm clocks here! & bar area where you can get drinks all-day from ten onward. I always went down on to the beach front & did not use the pool, Nice little beach but with a lot of rocks There is a few gorgeous private spots on the beach right in front of the hotel. There is a local man who was they every day scuba diving for his food say hello for me lovely man. I stayed all inclusive so food & drinks on tap food selection was great breakfast lunch & dinner plenty to eat & always tables free no waiting around. Room was big two single bed, nice bathroom bath & shower TV with English news table & chairs & pull out sofa, plenty of lighting. We did hire a car for the week Gold car which was £60 Citroen ds3 which did save on transfer fees & went all over the island. Yes the hotels do have German guests, we had a great time Always friendly & to be honest the Germans only go for tidy hotels! To sum up this holiday had an excellent time put on a few pounds due to the lovely food & yes I would book this hotel again. The hotel has a few cats & they are so friendly, cat station where you can leave food for them Freddie the cat man comes every night to feed them :~)The hotel does have a spa 6 euro lovely, also a gym if that’s your thing. You can use hotel computers three in total 50cent for 5 minutes. Tennis courts, Kids play area, Football area, lots to do in the hotel if you look for it & not stay in the bar AL-day. The weather was great but windy early morning & late evening but temps up in the 30s. Hotel has a little shop on site if you need anything. I say go & enjoy we did & hotel staff were excellent.

Room Tip: Try and get Block 1 or Block 2 3rd or 2nd floor.

Arrived back from this hotel yesterday (11/6/13)...........this hotel is NOT for families entertainment was very poor....the pool was salt water and freezing!!! Nothing for kids to do at all. The restaurant was ok the food was always either cold or just warm some meats weren't even cooked properly!!! Was full of Germans with very little English families/couples!!! The rooms were nice (we had a sea view) very spacious the cleaners could have done a little better job as we found that even after the cleaners had been in there was still sand/dust etc on the floor!!!! Beds were only changed 1 in the 10days we were there!!!!! Even though we paid for all inclusive we ended up spending hundreds to keep the kids and our selfs entertained and making sure the kids had at least 1 decent meal a day!!!!

Room Tip: Don't stay here!!!!!!!

Overall - very good. Room had good sea view - recommend you pay extra otherwise you have no view at all unless you like looking at a wall. Food good selection and service. Housekeeping ok but could pay more attention to detail sometimes. Beds are a bit hard. Bit of a walk to resort centre but very nice walk along beach. Staff all helpful, but have very limited English speakers. Pool nice and clean.

Room Tip: Make sure you pay extra for a sea view.

Hotel is on quite place at the end of Play Blanca city, so if you want peaceful vacation it is good to go here. Hotel is cleen and nice. Food was delicious. Access to sea is not that good, because there are stones. But place for rest on the beach is very nice, pool is nice to. I really appreciated that, all inclusive drinks you can serve by yourself. Rooms are really big- big bedroom, living room, balcony and bathroom with toilet.

Stayed here August 2012 in a sea view room, just lovely to wake up in the morning and sit out on the balcony before going down to breakfast (stayed all inclusive). There was always plenty of choice at meal times and the food was always hot.Although the hotel was mostly German based everyone was really friendly. We all had a really lovely stay and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Pleasantly suprised how nice this was for a 3* hotel. Reception staff very helpful (especially Nora) who helped me so much when my luggage was lost. Got it back ok next day-whew!!!!
I cannot beleive how clean and well kept this hotel was. I enjoyed an upgrade to a seaview room and it was just perfect. You could hear the waves crashing all day & night-heaven!!!
LOVELY food and plently of choice. All the usual drinks on offer, nice sparkling wine and I preferred the rose to the red or white wine. Gorgeous Bloody Mary's and a few other cocktails.
Heated pool. Loads of loungers and the weather was 21C most days, bit windy but that's normal for the Canaries.
Beds were on wheels which was a bit weird but as it's just a week, no problem. The walls are a bit thin, your fellow guests though, are pretty respectful regarding noise I found.
Walked into Playa Blanca 3 times and got a bus home, E1.50 single. Found a lovely beauty salon in the town near all the banks called Miss Umas-had a great french pedicure done for E20.00-bargain.
I would recommend this hotel for people who enjoy meeting other nationalities in a lovely peaceful environment.
Many thanks for a lovely week.

Room Tip: Most rooms are on the ground floor. You can upgrade on arrival.

Me and my fiancé stayed at this hotel in August, after paying a lot of money for this hotel we thought we were in for a treat, a luxury hotel! On arrival to the hotel we were greated at reception by a friendly man checked in quickly and was told where out room was! We headed straight for lunch when we got ther, our first impressions wasn't very good, as the food selection didn't cater for English and the restaurant was full of German people! We thought tea would be better and it was ok, still didnt cater for us with unusual fish dishes and fatty meats! They did have a good choice of salad! Breakfast was ok, nothing special the usual cheap beans, sausages (frankfurters) fatty hard bacon, toast with all flies on because the Germans left the covers of the bread! It was honestly like people had never ate before piling there plates high, like scavengers! The overall food was ok, nothing special and they had German themed nights! All staff mainly spoke German and little English! We didn't let this bother us, only saw about 5 other English families whilst we were there! Pool ok and clean, although never saw them clean it. The lunch time pizza was nice, although u would que up and wait whilst all the kids put about 5 slices on there plate so when u got there u had to wait for another one, all fresh. Pool toilets were ok. Entertainment mostly in german, with the odd English word so you couldn't enjoy it or join in. Drinks were quite good, wine wasn't nice although I did find out you could have cava out of a bottle which was lovely. Room was big, nice bathroom and we had free aircon. Tele was mostly German channels we had one English chanel. View from room was lovely, sea view. Location was not good at all your totally out of the centre about an hour walk up the sea front, to far away, overall ok holiday would not go back as they catered for germans not English hotel. Dont go here if u want to be close to centre and have children as they would be bored.
