“returned after 15 years away”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2013

11/7/2013 .My husband & I have just returned after 15 years when we used to stay as self catering with my 2 sons (who are now grown up & DON'T holiday with mum & dad just use us as the bank) we booked half board was given a family suite room 4110 overlooking the harbour was disappointed at first but turned out to be the quietest, coolest room, as the sun was on the balacony first thing but a cool breeze blew through during the night & since the hotel does not have air conditioning this was a god send, We found the food like everyone else excellent, great choice and PLENTY of it, all the staff were friendly & helpful a credit to Iberostar. We loved the little touches the cleaners left in our room, the folding of towels into swans & boats. We will return perhaps all inclusive next time.

My partner and I have just returned home from our third stay at this hotel and we still love it. We arrived at about 2am on the 26th of June and the restaurant had very kindly left us a dinner made up from the buffet which was exactly what we needed after travelling. We stayed half board and the food was delicious as always, and again this year there was a really wide variety on what you could have, so there was always something to choose from. We had a great room on the ground floor which led out to the pool and the location of the hotel itself was really handy to the strip where all the bars and restaurants are. It's a bit longer to get to the marina but we rented bikes from the shop beside the hotel. The staff were really exceptional - everyone is so friendly and really went out of their way to make sure everything was ok for us. I can't say enough nice things about them! We will definitely be back again next year for stay number four :)

We had our first family holiday abroad in 6 years. We stayed from 21st June until 1st July Iberostar Lanzarote Park was recommended to us by my inlaws. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left it was fantastic. The room had a lovely side sea view and so close to the reception. The Kids club was fantastic for our two children, they went almost everyday. Great choice from 7 swimming pools. ALL the staff were so friendly and helpful. We went all inclusive and i have to say i can not fault the food, everyday there was a great choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner. On both sundays we had a glass of complementary champagne with our breakfast!! The rooms were spacious and we thought we might have needed a fan as there is no air conditioning in the room but we did not need to hire any. There was plenty of entertainment for young and old alike everyday. Ducky was the entertainment manager and he was so nice and chatty, his team of entertainers were fantastic too. One of the nights there was an acrobat show on which my son took part in, Fantastic show. We will certainly be back next year. This hotel should be rated more than a three star

I have just returned from another great stay at Lanzarote Park. My son loved the mini club for kids and the entertainment staff were always friendly and encouraging, even making an effort as they arrived for work as we waited on our airport departure. I couldn't say enough about all the staff, especially their help in making arrangements for my mum's birthday during our stay. As my son said on the way out, look forward to seeing you again next year!

Well worth the visit. A nice hotel and best used with the all inclusive package. My wife is a wheelchair user and was always politely attended to by the hotel staff, in fact for the later part of the stay we were able to reserve a dining table for our own use saving the rush to find a table. The hotel could use some TLC and the rooms, comfortable are dated and need some modernisation. But the maid service is excellant with 6/7 days of bed and towel changes.
The towel on the sunbed brigade were at it and this proved difficult as the hotel got busier towards the end of our stay, on our next return we will request a ground floor room as these seem better suited for pool acess for any disabled users.
Food very good and a superb variety.
Activites good for most.
Our only downers were, one surly reception staff member on our departure ( the rest were great)
and we will surely look at flight times, as although you can book if available an extension this was in perspective quite expensive.

Room Tip: Ground floor for wheelchair users.

just arrived back from how holiday in the Iberostar lanzarote park in playa blanca . We stayed for 2 weeks from the 20th June - 4th July 2013. This hotel was graded a 3 star but could quit easily be a 4 star with a little updating otherwise we found it clean and comfortable and the staff extremely friendly and polite . The rooms were very spacious with a LARGE balcony . The hotel consists of 3 horseshoe shaped blocks ,and every room had a stunning sea view and a view of Fuerteventura and the island of Los Lobos . We stayed on half board basis and the food was always hot and freshly cooked. This hotel is in the quite part of playa blanca but 10 mins stroll along the prom and past the harbour you come to the main part where there are shops and eateries. It was an advantage to hire a car to go to the stunning beaches of Papagyo and saved a lot other than paying for excurtions. . Do shop around for car hire as we found it could be from 100 euros to 300 euros for a small family car in front of the hotel . It was a really nice relaxing holiday there was entertainment every night in the hotel which was varied and daytime activities for young and old during the day . In our opinion this hotel was very good value for money and we would love to go again .

Room Tip: ask for a quiet room on a high floor

For the first time ever, I actually genuinely enjoyed my luxurious stay. the service was exceptional the sheets were always clean and not a member of staff disappointed me. There was always something to do not just for the children but for the adults. I would go back any time and i would like the whole world to know how great this hotel is! To go on holiday here should certainly be on everyone's 'to do' list. Spain should be glad that this wonderful hotel is native to them.
