“Spring 2015”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Stayed here for 5 nights of relaxation at the end of April 2015. Hotel was lovely, rooms comfortable and well equipped but bathroom could have done with a little updating. We don't go on holiday to watch TV but it is sometimes nice to watch a film at the end of the night but from 60 odd channels we only had one English Channel which was BBC news 24!!

Mixed reviews of the staff, I witnessed some really rude English guests and whether this effected the attitude of some of the staff I'm not sure. They were pretty friendly on first service but if you then wanted a second drink you would have to call someone over and they didn't seem particularly happy with this. This seemed to be the same for both bar and restaurant staff. The cook on the hotplate was also not particularly helpful towards anyone who could not speak Spanish.

Nando in the Sheesha bar however was an absolute star and really made our evenings enjoyable.

Food was good and varied well but entertainment in the evening was limited and so we ventured out to the marina on a couple of occasions.

There is a large crowd of senior guests so do not go expecting a lively evening!!

Pool area was great, very quiet and relaxing with some nice touches throughout the day such as cold water mist, cocktails and sunglasses cleaning. Wi-if throughout the hotel was pretty shocking!

All in all this is a great hotel but just a few small things could be looked at to make it exceptional.

Room Tip: Pool side rooms seemed a little better, we were tucked away in the far corner!

This hotel was in a really good location, ideal for walking either to the Marina or to the town of Playa Blanca. We stayed on bed and breakfast and so it was easy to find lots of restaurants nearby. The rooms were large with a very comfy bed. Our bathroom would benefit from a redecoration but was clean. The bar, restaurant and pool were all very well looked after and smart. A really nice touch: on my birthday the hotel delivered a cake and bottle of cava to the room, what a lovely surprise and thanks to them. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We very much enjoyed our stay, would return and recommend the hotel.

My husband & I stayed at this lovely hotel for the last week in April. It was part of a belated hunnymoon for us after getting married late last year so the staff had organised a bottle of cava & card in our room for us on arrival which was a lovely start to the holiday. Check in was straightforward, reception staff were pleasant & porters very helpful with our luggage. Our room overlooked the pool & was very stylish / clean & spacious. The nescafe coffee machine in the room was a nice perk as we love our coffee. The food in the restaurant was lovely with plenty of selection. The romance themed evening had a lot of effort put into it & the ladies got given red roses & chocolates. We went half board as we like to get out & about as well. The only thing I would say is that the table waiters were slightly slow at making sure you got coffee served at your table in the mornings & taking your drinks order in the evenings but that is only a very small compliant. There was plenty of spanish & French people staying in the hotel which I think is always a good sign of it being of good quality. The entertainment in the evening was of very good quality, we especially liked the opera singers on romance night & the Motown group the following evening. It was like going to a mini concert or gig! Location was good. It was halfway between the rubicon marina & the more traditional fishing harbour of playa blanca. The promenade is a lovely walk after breakfast in the morning. It was about a 2 minute walk to the beach. The pool area does get quite busy with people trying to reserve beds before breakfast & it was difficult at times to get 2 beds together. If the guestS didn't try to reserve beds & the hotel provided a few more beds, then this wouldn't be an issue. Overall, if you want a chilled out break with your other half or friends in a place that isn't over run with us Brits, this is a lovely place to stay & I would say that we will definitely go back.

Room Tip: First floor if you don't want to hear people moving around above you.

This hotel has almost everything you need, great price, excellent service, perfect location, spotless and great variety during the meals. All the great reviews about it are well deserved and I won't go over it again.
The one thing I'd like to mention is that if you depend on having WiFi you may want to look elsewhere. Some rooms may have really bad signal (like ours) and even on the main areas like the lobby and bar the throughput is flaky at best. I would dearly recommend this hotel to fix it as it is the only drawback we found.

Great hotel, very clean, large rooms and wonderful friendly staff. Restaurant food was varied although the restaurant seating area for the number of guests could possibly be made larger... tables close together and with the buffet style food can get pretty busy and chaotic with people trying to get their food and back to their tables at the start of meal times. Also did miss having a kettle in our room.. rooms are provided with espresso style coffee machines , but no hot water for a good brew. Otherwise it was a fantastic hotel and would consider going back again.. advice on room booking second floor balcony is good numbers from 200 as you are away from main road and view from balcony over look pool area and not road side as some of the other rooms do.

Room Tip: Second floor balcony rooms numbers 200 to 216 ( not sure how big block was) we stayed in 204, as the...

First visit to Lanzarote and had heard good and bad things but come back completely charmed due to the lovely resort of Playa Blanca and the gorgeous White Suites. I have stayed in many H10 hotels and always been very happy but I was a bit worried that as the White Suites was described as a Boutique hotel, it might not have the facilities I like. I should not have worried! Like many hotels in Lanzarote it is low rise and with lovely rustic style buildings. We had a first floor suite with a large bedroom with a king size bed with a TV then a lovely bathroom (only a half bath but my 6ft husband managed to drape himself into it) then a lounge area with sofa and chairs, TV and wardrobes plus a lovely balcony with a sun bed and table and chairs. All absolutely lovely, clean and stylish. Pool area was lovely too with the most comfortable sun beds ever and so peaceful and tranquil. Food was great in the restaurant and pool bar, great selection of drinks at all bars and reasonable low key entertainment most nights.
I have only one niggle. I feel the hotel could do with more staff in the pool bar as the staff there worked so hard but we were often left waiting a while for drinks and food. It is the only thing I found a problem and it is only as a recommendation to the hotel to make them even more perfect!
Highly highly recommend this hotel and will be back

Sentido White Suites is not a bad hotel. But it is not as good as the hype it is receiving in many Trip Advisor reviews. This site is about opinions, of course, but my wife and I did not see the 5 out of 5 excellence others have posted.

Good things:

- It is adults-only and is therefore very tranquil.
- Most of the hotel staff are warm, friendly and first-rate.
- Rooms are good and spacious. Beds very comfortable. Coffee-maker, high quality TV are all nice touches too.
- We appreciated the efforts with the evening entertainment and daytime activities like wine-tasting. The hotel space is too limited for this to be enjoyable, however. Unless you were there very early there was no seat!
- It is in a good location. Close to the sea and bars/restaurants in Playa Blanca (5 minute walk downhill)
- Plenty of street parking out front
- Good value for money.

Not good:

- We waited an hour over check-in to be allocated our room (4.00 p.m.). Then told we couldn’t have late check-out even though we were happy to pay (a 30-minute courtesy room was provided to be fair).
- Wi-fi is a joke. The bars on the seafront have better and easier access than the hotel. Not everyone’s ‘need’ I know but it is the 21st Century.
- During our week at the hotel there were insufficient sun beds and limited space by the pools. People were grabbing spots by 8.15 a.m. in the morning.
- We were half-board and this was a mistake in hindsight. Breakfast is decent and wide-ranging. Evening meal was generally of poor quality and limited choice. Also insufficient space in the dining area.

Overall it is a good hotel (a 3.5 for me), especially for one with a 3-Star rating. But the Trip Advisor hype had us expecting more. Would we return? Maybe.... but at least our expectations would not be so high.
