For the price, the accommodation was good. We had booked this as a "cheap" holiday (£270 each) , but I may have disappointed had it cost much more. Saying that it didn't have a cheap feel.
We only ate once in the restaurant- this was average- general buffet -type system. Spoke to others in the hotel who said the food was awful though.
Very good location- 10mins walk to the Marina Rubicon- quite upmarket shops/ restaurants. 10 minutes walk to the town of Playa Blanca, which was a bit more "touristy". Saying that I preferred Lanzarote to Tenerife and Gran Canaria- certainly we were not hassled to buy things, timeshares etc. I think it would be very different in the summer though.
Staff at resort were helpful. Can't comment on entertainment as we didn't go to the bar. I think in the summer the only bar that is open is next to the pool and would probably be noisy. As it was it was very quiet in the evenings.
Small play area kept our three year old entertained. There was also a mini club, to do colouring/ craft etc which she also liked.
Probably more of a place for families.
