“Very good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2013

The restaurant is not located on the sea-front promenade but it is still worth visiting. We enjoyed food and sangria. Tapas: very good octopus, great seafood paella and delicious cheesecake.
Staff friendly. Good value for money.

“fourth holiday in Playa Blanca Food and service still excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013

Just got back from another lovely holiday in Playa Blanca I always stay at the Lanzarote Princess Hotel and always eat out locally. Out of my ten night stay I ate here five times it serves lovely fresh spanish food. The Tapas is Excellent, especially the prawns in garlic, sardines, and advacado and prawns. It was so lovely to see Juan,Seven,Angel and the rest of the staff.Standards are very high and they do a great job. I will be back to lovely Playa Blanca in feb 2014 Can't Wait!

“Poor service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013 via mobile

We've eaten here numerous times and always been happy to return. After a recent visit, we shall not go back here. Whilst the food remained ok, the service was terrible. Sat down and someone immediately took wine order.....then we were ignored. Other people came in after, had their food order taken....we in the meantime kept trying to catch someone's attention....the staff had a real knack of diverting opposite direction to our table and not making eye contact. My husband in the end got up to go find someone, they were apologetic but we felt ignored by then.

There is one person in particular who works there who is a bit ignorant (seen that before too), rather than asking if we wanted desserts (which we didn't after a paella), he gave us menus then spoke in quick Spanish of the specials of the day.....when we nodded and said no thank you he then 'tested' us by....'what did I just say' as it happens we had listened and understand a little Spanish so my husband relayed back what he'd heard.

Its a real shame as have always looked forward to visits here, but there is no excuse for poor service and then general rudeness.

There are plenty other places to visit and that's what we will do.
