“Great food, massive portions!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2011

We go here every year at least once or twice, always busy which is a good sign. Portions are huge, grilled tuna is enough for two, chicken is a half a bird! I love the steamed mussels and there is enough for a main course, coffee is good too and prices reasonable, prawns ajillo, chicken and tuna mains, drinks and coffee and all for less than 30 euros for two....service sometimes a little slow but worth the wait...and always a honey rum for free to finish...highly reccommended....

“This is good value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2011

My family and I have been coming to this restaurant for more than 25 years and it always pleases. The food is of good quality and the waiters attentive and helpful. The major plus is the value for money. !5 euros per head will satisfy the hungriest including drinks and service. Of course there are busy times because it is so popular and a wait is inevitable but not excessively so.

“A great place to eat”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2011

This restaurant is extremely reasonable and has an excellent selection of food, including the famous smoked salmon from Uga. The waiters are friendly and very attentive. The service here is great. They speak good english but if you speak a few words of Spanish to them, it will make their day. The food is very hot, maybe slightly too hot, but I cant fault the service or the food.

“Could not believe it!!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2011

I used this restaurante for over twenty years even when it was over the road near the church!
Always had good priced meals and the leg of lamb and I mean leg was out of this world..........but would not go there again if you paid me!!!!!! Had chicken with almonds and the chicken must have had a whole packet pored over it! And to make it worse they were rock hard!!!!! My father in law had steak which was like shoe leather and my mother in law and wife had sole which tasted bland plus the source was cold! The waiter which was so happy when we came asked if the meal was all O.K.? When we complained he became rude and did not give a dam!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!

“Very good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2011

We ate here first on our trip and had some lovely fish dishes. We decided to try other restaurants in the local area over the next week but were disappointed as they didn't match the food and friendly service here!! We eventually came back here for the last 4 nights of our holiday. 100% recommended and extremely reasonable prices.
