We visited here in the evening twice. It's right in the middle of Playa Blanca seafront with lovely views of the sea from the outside tables or tables inside (ask for window seats (obviously) if booking by phone). They specialise in fresh fish and probably-Spanish meat (Iberian pork - fresh and cured, steak and lamb). Portions of mains are big and usually served with Canarian potatoes (baked and salted) and a small portion of whatever other veg is available. We've eaten local fish, squid and pork here but have seen others eat the Chateaubriand steak which looked pretty gorgeous. It's quite a smart restaurant and they do a lot of cooking and serving at table which is very entertaining. They brought green olives and bread on both visits (the olives were the best we found and to die for) - we thought they were gratis but 2 euros appeared on the bill (worth it though). We did have gratis choice of liqueur (we had rum and honey (a Canarian speciality) and vodka and caramel (apparently international)). Not the cheapest place to eat but it's lovely, the staff are friendly and the buzz in the restaurant is good. This is where we discovered one of the wonderful local white wines (Yaiza). As with all the Lanzarote places we visited, it would be useful to have a translation of the local fish handy as the staff often don't know the English version and it's interesting to know what one is eating.
