“One of the best in Playa Blanca”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2011

A very spacious and modern quality hotel worthy of its 4 star ranking. We had an excellent room with a large terrace with all day sun and a sea view. The hotel has all of the amenities that you will want, inside and outdoors. There is a promenade all along the sea front at Playa Blanca which goes for at least two miles and there are plenty off stop-off / refreshment opportunities along the way. The hotel was busy even in February and had a mixture of nationalities. The main age group was 50+ so the atmosphere was tranquil. Night time entertainment in the hotel was of a high standard with alternative options elsewhere in Playa Blanca and beyond. I would recommend hiring a car for 1 or 2 days to really explore the island at your own pace. The food at the hotel (self-service buffet), although plentiful, was OK without being exceptional and the options to dine out in the resort were many and affordable, so I maybe would not go on a half-board basis again. Currency exchange rates locally were significantly better than in the UK.

We were pleased with our choice of hotel. For us the location was perfect; a quieter position than hotels nearer Playa Blanca and we enjoyed the walk along the prom in both directions. The hotel restaurant is huge, and we chose just bed & breakfast, as we prefer to eat out. I haven't seen a recent posting which mentions the sea front bars to the lighthouse side of the hotel - just 4 minutes walk. Above the bars, and at road level, there is the choice of 4 restaurants and we would recommend one of the Italian restaurants - Luna Rossa. Good food, friendly service & reaonably priced.
Sadly the hotel has a procedure of charging €9 to have the mini bar emptied. We paid on arrival but felt it was penny pinching. (Then on departure they tried to charge us for what we'd used from the mini bar!)

We have stayed in Lanzarote many times, but this was the best experience we have had. The hotel caters for all tastes, but mainly for older people, although our teenage kids still had a great time playing ping pong, swimming, riding bikes, hired from Roland's bar opposite the hotel, playing pool at Roland's bar, watching the football, (you got it at Roland's bar), and we all generally chilled out, met some great people and had a fantastic week. What more do you want from a holiday. Oh yes, sunshine. We got that too!!

Hotel was nice and the bar upstairs did wicked cocktails!! made me sleep like a log
The rooms were big and very nice the bathroom was also very big if a little dated. The pool Bar was excellent and the service and food was good.
The dining in the evening was a little on the wild side.....queues to go in the dining room tables not always laid ready and plates taking a while to be cleared away. the food was ok but not the best and breakfast was a fight for all.
The pool was nice and always plenty of sun beds. the gym was not very good!!
Took 35 minutes to walk into playa blanca
You have to pay 10 euros to hire the beach towels which you can change every three days...you do get the 10 euros back at the end of your holiday
The staff are all very nice in the hotel

Chose this hotel due to tripadvisor reviews. previousy stayed at Timanfaya Palace but reviews had put off a return.
Natura Palace was very clean, nice bedrooms although feel fridge should be free and safe in room not downsairs. Also air conditioing was very poor, room always too hot.
Let down by the quality and variety of food on offer. Very average. Although as a previous reviewer mentioned pizzas by pool at lunchtime were excellent.
Good if you want a quiet and relaxing holiday.

This hotel certainly has the wow factor when you arrive, the reception hall is truly impressive and we instantly relaxed after the long journey. We had spent ages choosing this hotel and considered also the Melia Volcan, Timanfaya Palace and Rubicon Palace, all of these we went to have a look at during our stay and the Natura Palace beats them all by a long way. The rooms are large and most have a sea view, the pool area is lovely, in the evenings after dinner we would sit in the lounge area and listen to the pianist until 9.30 when the nightly show starts. All of these shows were to what we considered a very good standard (having seen some awful attempts in other hotels over the years) Restaurant was a little claustrophobic but food was fine if not fantastic, pool bar does yummy pizzas big enough to share at lunchtime. All in all we were so glad we chose this hotel after seeing the others so if youre considering it just go ahead, you wont be disappointed. Dont worry about the location, the walk is so nice along the front and if you cant manage it the taxis are cheap as the bus.

Beautiful Hotel with fantastic service. When you arrive at the Natura Palace you are immediately struck by the stunning reception / piano bar area. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful and the room that we were given was comfortable and had a lovely view of the pool area and the sea beyond. The food was of a good quality without being overly fancy but the desserts were very special. We enjoyed the atmosphere around the pool although the pools were very cold. The Gym facilities are poor ! The biggest draw back for us for the hotel was the lack of a decent supermarket within walking distance and not much in the way of places to walk to in the evening unless you take the largely unlit coastal path towards Playa Blanca 30 mins away. We did not go to the evening entertainment but it was provided every night bar sunday. I have to use this opportunity to say that it is time that Thomson changed their policy concerning flight service. We are hardly off the ground both outbound and inbound when we are bombarded with sales pitch. Coffee Tea, then it's sweets and crisps then it's tv dinners (curry etc to be microwaved) then its earphones psp's etc then it's scratch cards finally it's would you like a drink from the bar. (you are ready for one by now!) Then after all that you feel rushed when your meal arrives. We hadn't finished our starter when the coffee arrived and we never got another chance for a top up! Then it's duty free sales perfume and jewellry! RIDICULOUS!! I'm sorry Thomson but on a four hour flight to feel rushed during your meal is not on. HOTEL comfort and relaxation 8/10 FLIGHT comfort and relaxation 4/10.
