Booked this holiday only 2 weeks before our arrival on the 2nd May for £555 each for the week, as we were just after a late break in the sun.
Have never done all-inclusive before, normally half board and 5 star, and so we were a bit apprehensive especially reading some of the previous trip adviser reviews....one of the reasons for going at this particular time was that hopefully we wouldn't be overun with children(besides the price).We had a fabulous double room with great balcony overlooking the pool area and with a sea view...room number 4119. The rooms are a great size,and certainly they are a definete 5 star...the cleaners do a great job on a daily basis.
Food - I would say if you can't find anything suitable at either breakfast, lunch and dinner you must have some sort of eating disorder. It was far better than I expected, my wife and I are fussy eaters but with a couple of stations cooking to order...fill your boots! All the restaurant staff were fantastic,they work so hard.
Drink - Love my red wine..thought before I got here I would have to get a few bottles in the room as I thought the hotel would fall short here....WRONG....a nice quaffable red, the gin and tonics, cocktails etc were all great. Bar staff were very good..should have a jar/glass for tips on the bar, they work so hard and would be nice gesture.
Word of warning - Bought a Jack Daniels & Coke one night and was charged 9. 70 euros,expected 5/6 but thought excessive especially for the surroundings.
There was only the sports bar to sit in at night, especially if it's still cool at nights and it is a very dour place with red velvet seats and wouldn't look out of place on an estate back in the 70's.
So if your here as a couple there's nowhere to escape the kids...although its only a 15 min stroll to the marina. The reception bar charges for drinks so no one goes in there, so the atmosphere is nil.
The shows are a bit naff...with the exception of the Motown night,( they were on last year when we stopped at The Melia Salinas in Costa Tequise)but if you are a family on holiday it will keep the kids amused.
Pool Bar and swimming pools are good with plenty of sun beds, although I can imagine as the season gets busier it might become a problem.
WARNING- We needed our room until 5pm with our flight not until 9pm and the hotel charged 50 Euros. Thought it excessive just for 5 hrs but the girl on reception wasn't interested,said thats the rule...shame..just took the edge off our final day.
This is not a 5 star hotel in the true sense of the word, but the staff certainly are...I can't praise them enough...they make this hotel.
All in all a great place for familes and to a lesser degree couples. Great value for money....it does what it says on the tin!

We are glad to hear that you was not disappointing from you first holiday with all inclusive and our service including our service. It is not easy to find something for every taste but we are proud that you find always something to eat and that you enjoyed or vine offer.

It is not easy to meat everyone’s taste with animation, but our animation team gives their best to animate all our clients, but it is nice to hear that you enjoyed our Motown night.
We apologize for the experience with our Drink and for the opinion that we are not a 5 star hotel, we are interesting in why you have this opinion. In our Resort we have some prices they are given and our staff is not allowed to change this. On the other hand we are really glad that you praise our staff so much.
