“"Best holiday so far"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2012

I stayed in 40 Vista Lobos "Casa Luciana" this November and it was an experience to remember. The services the villa had to offer were outstanding and it was only 5 minutes from the town centre. The pictures do not do it justice and there was more than enough room for our large party. I will definitely be heading back again!

Myself and 6 friends recently returned from a stay in Casa Luciana and we were all very impressed by the beautiful, spacious villa.

The bedrooms were air conditioned, had plenty of storage space and were all very tastefully decorated. Both double rooms had their own en suite which ensured everyone in the large party of 7 had sufficient privacy. The attention to detail in the bedrooms was evident in the soft furnishings and chic colour schemes.

There is plenty of living space in Casa Luciana including a fully equipped kitchen, elegant dining room and a stylish outdoor BBQ area. The downstairs living area is airy and spacious and is equipped with a high quality pool table, comfortable sofas and a flat screen TV with a DVD player and Sky box. We were very impressed with the level of luxury in the villa. You couldn't ask for more!

The outdoor recreation area was also very impressive. The sizable pool was cleaned during our stay and was equipped with a pool cover to ensure maximum cleanliness and also helped to keep the pool toasty warm when not in use! The use of our own private hot tub added a real sense of luxury to the holiday and we greatly enjoyed hopping in and out at our leisure.

The location of the villa is excellent as it boasts a fantastic sea view and a view of the nearby island Fuerteventura. It is an enjoyable walk away from the main strip, or a taxi rank outside the estate can bring you to the centre of the town for about 3 euro. This makes Playa Blanca's shops, restaurants and bars easily accessible to visitors of Casa Luciana.

I would recommend this villa to anyone and look forward staying there again. For a thoroughly relaxed, luxurious and enjoyable holiday, Casa Luciana is a safe bet!

we stayed in the villa jade marie for a week and although the villa was ok the location was unsuitable. please be aware that this is a residential area and residents do not appreciate you having fun so if you have noisy children or want to play a little music you will probably receive complaints from the neighbours and be threatened with the police. The villa was very nice and comfortable and spacious. the villa was too far out from the resort and there is nothing around the residential area. probably a good half hour walk into the resort. The area is very deserted with most of the villas left half built probably due to the recession. The are smelt terrible of drains and the villa that backed onto jade marie had a dog run at the back with a years worth of dog poo in it so you can only imagine what it smelled like when it was hot. The hot tub and pool wasnt maintained adequately and the hot tub became very dirty and unusable. all in all very dissapointed with the villa and the area it was in.

My wifes treat to the whole family - the 2 of us plus our 2 grown-up daughters and their partners - so 6 in total. We were in Villa 17 Vista Papagayo, and the pictures do not do it justice. My adult daughters were reduced back to squealing children in the pool; my wife jumped in fully dressed the first morning; the 3 'boys' (20-60 years old!) were in the hot-tub at midnight with cigars and drinks......and so it went on! Beautiful villa, which I thought was brand new it was so immaculate.
Finished to a very high standard with everything we could want for the perfect holiday. Worth every euro and more. Previous reviewers detail resort, taxis, shops, etc so I won't repeat other than to say Playa Blanca is great - this was our 4th visit - and this villa made it the best by far.
We've used all-inclusive in the past but it's villas everytime now if they're anything like this one.

Villa booked with: pureluxuryvillaslanzarote.com - simple, straighforward, and good communications.
Flights booked with Jet2 - as above.
Seven seater people carrier booked with Holiday Autos - excellent in all respects. Collected from airport when we arrived, used for the whole holiday for sightseeing, dropped back when we departed. Excellent value and very easy.
We'll do it again as soon as we can!!

We stayed at 25 Vista Lobos last October - travelled with my Husband, 2 girls (1 and 3), Sister, and Mum and Dad. So much space for everyone over 3 floors. Pool was fantastic and my 3 year old was amazed by the outside play house and slide. We enjoyed the hot tub most evenings. Really good quality fixtures and fittings, kitchen had all necessities (microwave, oven, coffee machine, large fridge freezer, washing machine). Great outside dining space with BBQ and table and chairs for 6. Air Hockey table in downstairs lounge and Ping Pong table outside. Pool area should have been gated to avoid children falling down stairs.
Booked through luxuryvillaslanzarote.com with no problems.
Slightly too far from Playa Blanca to walk for our young girls (have to go up slight hill). Takes about 30 minutes to get to the beach, but its easy to drive to and park in main car park.
Daniel is very helpful, he tried very hard to sort out the Sky TV for us as it wasn't working well the 1st few days but this wasn't a problem.
Overall, i highly recommend this villa for staying with extended family or travelling as 2 families.

Room Tip: Villa no 25 excellent for children.

As a family of 4 we booked this villa through "Pure Luxury Villas in Lanzarote", we booked through Marie Smart as agent and everything went to plan, we booked our own flights from Manchester through SkyScanner which somehow gives savings as opposed to going direct to the Thomas Cook website, (be warned this operator offers little or no legroom, its like being on a cattle farm for 4 hours) however on arriving at the villa this some became a distant memory. The photos on the website look great and you always hope they live up to expectation, in this case they did, the 4 of us were more than impressed with the layout and the standard of the villa. Once we carried out a recci of the levels of the poolside area and hot tub, it was a toss up as to which couple had which bedroom and it left a spare bedroom which is handy when those little fall outs occur and they did!!!!!!!!!!
Once we had visited the town on a shopping trip and stocked up we were happy, although there was milk, bread, cheese and ham in the fridge.
The location of the villa is great being on a slight rise with views across to Furtaventura, there is a beach probably within 20 minutes walking distance near the Lanzarote Park Hotel which is excellent for sunbathing.
The villa is well equipped with a BBQ area (make sure you buy a couple of packs of charcoal from the SPAR as the grill area is massive).
The pool side is equipped with sunbeds and parasols, the pool is well maintained and is as advertised. Overall this is the first time in years since we tried a holiday of this type and it suited us to a "T", the 4 of us thats Mum and Dad with daughter Rebecca and partner Nick (he has a drink problem but being in an isolated location it mattered little ) really enjoyed every aspect of this holiday. You know you have had a good holiday when it takes you weeks to get it out of your system and that was 4 weeks ago now, can't wait to go back.
For anyone who has children behind the complex is a water park, DINOLAND, tickets can be bought from the Island Paradise complex reception which is just up the road and has its own supermnarket.
Playa Blanca is a lovely resort with a lovely harbour and bay where you can sit in an evening and watch the ferries coming in dramatically from Futerventura while you enjoy an evening meal or drink. Enjoy!

Have Just returned from a 7 night stay at 40, Vista Lobos (Casa Luciana) with my family (8 adults, 1 child) and would definitely recommend this Villa! I had excellent communication with the owner of the villa; Lorentia, from time of booking to day of arrival, she was really helpful and accommodating to any queries i had and responded quickly via email. Daniel, the real estate manager for Vista Lobos was also fantastic. He was waiting at the Villa when we arrived to give us the keys. He gave us a tour around the villa and told us a lot of useful information regarding taxi's, restaurants and beaches. He even kindly bought water, milk, juice and some breakfast (bread/ham/cheese) as we arrived late Sunday evening and all the supermarkets were closed. The Villa itself is a very clean and well looked after new build with modern appliances. The Master bedroom was a perfect size with a large en-suite and doors onto the terrace. The other double bedroom was rather small but it also had an en-suite with a shower. Downstairs had two large seating areas and a small bar area. Unfortunately the Sky TV wasn’t working, nor the DVD player, but we could watch DVD's on the PlayStation. The two twin bedrooms and shared bathroom (with a shower and Jacuzzi bath) was also situated downstairs. All the rooms had air-con which was great! The outside area was very clean and well maintained. The pool was a great size for 9 people and the Hot Tub was good for the cooler evenings and very clean/sterile!

The Villa is situated around 6 minutes (by taxi) from the town/port (4/5 euros) and around 8 minutes (by taxi) to the Marina. (5/6euros) The town is quite small with loads of little gift shops and supermarkets. The port has many restaurants (some good, some not so good!), but they are mainly Italian with large menu's. The Marina Rubicón has nicer restaurants and i would recommend 'Afrodite Little Italy' and Lani's Grill Tex Mex Steakhouse. Little Italy was fantastic, we ate here twice during our stay and both times had outstanding food and service. (Pavoritotti has eaten there on more than one occasion!). Blue Note bar at the end of the Marina was also superb, with live pianist and lush cocktails! The Marina also has a market on a Saturday which was also really good and worth a visit. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely return to this Villa if we was to return to Playa Blanca.
