“Basic, but clean, friendly staff”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2012

This hotel came to us as a surprise after looking at several previous reports both on here and other review sites, as we found it to be what we expected for the money. I would not recommend going All Inclusive here, as the meals are a mixture of the days previous meals, and cold unappetising food. Like i said, you get what you pay for, and even the breakfast, ( Smoked straky bacon, Scrambled egg, beans, toast, orange juice became boring every day, we ended up eating out most of the time for a better brekkie, with cereal, fried eggs, etc etc.

Main meals consisted of meatballs, chips, pasta, pork chops, chips, rice, salad bar daily, more ribs, more pork chops in a different sauce, more meatballs, and you can guess what i`m getting at.

Food asides, ( i do love nice food), the hotel itself was clean and a maid service was every day. The pool area was clean till the young chavs got there then it became a bomb site. Why people cant use bins for the benefit of everyone ill never know!!! This hotel is for SINGLES, UNDER THE AGE OF 30. Do not take your partner here, group of lads or lassies, yes but partner and children, definately a no no.

Staff were helpful, they have to deal alot with your usual cant handle the drink people, and so put on a brave face, but they did not pose a problem to us. As for theft in the room, there is a big notice saying the hotel accepts no responsibliity for loss of items, and as the doors dont automatically lock when you shut them , this is how so many people are being robbed. When you go out lock the door with the key after you have pulled it to, and hire a saftey deposit box at reception, and kept behind reception only 4 euros per day and if your stuff goes missing in that THEY are responsible.

All in all a good hotel for partying till dawn, drink, drugs, and loads of hen/stag parties, with extra helpings of every sort of music you can imagine, both at poolside and from rooms, a party destination, not a relaxing hotel!!

On a seperate note if you pay for 7 nights but have a night flight you only get 5 days...... I flew out on the Monday and arrived on the tuesday at 4am. My room was booked from the monday but as i did not stay there then i expected on my last day trhe following monday i would still be able to keep my all inclusive band so it was 5 days food and drink in effect as i was not departing till the tuesday 2am....

Anyway apart from that, cheep n cheerful, would visit again only if with a bunch of lads on a mission!! Beds are terribly uncomfortable!!!

Aircon free, just ask for a remote at reception 10 euros deposit which you get back.

Dont pay more than 20 euros a day for a scooter!!!!

Room Tip: All beds are hard, so you have been warned!!!!!

I regret inform you that you were allocated in Hostal La Sirena not in La Sirena Apartments that is close to the beach as you can see in the photos.

To avoid confusions, we inform you that from 2014, La Sirena Apartments change the name to LaKiki Apartments (as cafeteria)

We stayed here 17th July till the 22nd... our room was full of ants! All over the floor and work tops! Maids didnt clean our room once even though we asked for our sheets to be changed as there were ants everywhere! We went out at night and got back to the room early hours in the morning and every single night there was the security (we assume) man cleaning round the pool, he would knock on our door Chase us to the lift and basically hassell us for being too 'loud' it is IBIZAAA! Jesus!!!! He was really freaky! There was NO music around the pool and no one dared socialize it was that silent! The top apartment we assumed was private and lived in, a gate blocking off the top.floor so basically no one was allowed to have fun or make noise at night! (dont live in a party island then!) Wouldn't stay there again Ants ended up in our bags and suitcases! Discusting..... best thing was the location had a beach view but that's it!

I regret that you not be happy with your stay in our Apartments.

We try every year to exerminate the ants, but with the hot is very difficult.
The clean are three times a week, by the moment, but if you have any problem and you tell it to the maids, they try to solve it.

Is true that we ask for silence in the night, because the majority of the guests want to rest.

We inform you that from 2014, La Sirena Apartments chhange the name to LaKiki Apartments (as cafeteria) to avoid confusions with Hostal La Sirena, more far from the beach.

I have stayed here a few years ago and i was not disappointed when i took my friend here for her first San Antonio visit, On arrival we did have to wait for the room to be sorted but were able to relax around the pool whilst was waited.
We had a seaview room and the view was lovely by day and esp for sunset. The room was spacious and had enough room for us to get ready. There was a kitchenette with 2 hobs kettle microwave and fridge.
The hotel is a few minutes from a taxi rank and situated over a cafe/ restaurant/ bar and a la sirena shop,
Its just a short walk to shops, supermarkets and restaurants as well as family bars and those open later 6am. To walk into town it can take about 15- 20 minutes.
The staff were friendly and we had towel changes every other day which was fine ::-) The pool are is also nice with many sun beds.
Id definitely recommend La Sirena to families and friends

Room Tip: Request a seaview room :-)

Having just returned from my 5th stay at these apartments (over 20 years!) i wanted to write a quick review and it really is a great place to stay when in San Antonio. I travelled in mid-May and it was just me and my partner looking for a week of rest and relaxation. The clubs were not open yet, so the area was quiet but definitely got busier towards the end of the week. The apartments are centrally located, far enough away from the town to avoid the loud music and clubbers, but close enough to walk to pretty much either side of the bay. There are two beaches (separated by a beach side snack bar) across the road...not a very busy road, but with good pavements and regular zebra crossings it was not a problem to get where we needed to be. A spa shop and a supermarket within a few minutes’ walk on either side were well stocked with provisions for the week. All in all it is a great location and a real little hidden gem of a place to stay – would I go back? Absolutely, in fact I don’t think I would stay anywhere else….

We arrived early evening and the first impression was a beaming smile and welcoming check-in. There are steps up the main front entrance, but I did later find a side entrance with no steps (mental note for next time!). It must be a family run establishment (seeing the same faces) but all of the staff are friendly and polite and really do go out of their way to make you feel settled. The apartment was as I remember…clean and spacious enough for our needs. I wanted to have the flexibility of self-catering over a hotel, so that we can keep our costs down. The kitchenette was stocked with pots and pans that were more than fine for our weeks stay (i quickly learned how to make toast in a dry frying pan and cups of tea from a hob kettle). The beds (apartment would sleep 4) were comfortable and well made with spare blankets and pillows available in the storage (we even had a neatly folded towel in the shape of a swan on the bed when we arrived!). I had opted for a sea-view room, which was wonderful - a bit noisy from the neighbouring bars (but not enough to disturb sleep) and a great view around the entire bay. The apartments are cleaned 3 times a way (every other day), which was more than enough for us…we bumped into the cleaner on-route on day 3 (always happy, smiling and making conversation) and she thrust fresh towels into our arms, so again, a nice ‘out of their way’ gesture. Stairs and a lift big enough for us both and our luggage, i spotted a luggage room and also showers, but i managed to pay a little extra to secure the apartment for a few extra hours on our last day (we didn't leave until the evening), so didn't have to use them, but was nice to know they were available.

The café (La Kiki Café) on the ground floor was a surprise, the menu at first looks basic, but the ‘Special’ breakfast was a must on our last day and a lunch time salad left me substantially full all day long. Can only consume bar bought items by the pool, but the fresh orange juice and slushies became regular for me. The bar is well stocked and although we ventured out to nearby bars and restaurants, I was pleasantly surprised when I saw drinks and meals being served around me. The pool is fantastic (if a little chilly!) and was pretty much empty for the first few days, with the addition of another couple and a small family towards the end of the week. It gets the sun most of the day and there are plenty of sunbeds to use around the pool. With a sun-terrace off the bar, it was a lovely place to cool off from some sunbathing without having to go back inside.

Underneath is a La Sirena Shop (I have since found out is a group of shops and other apartments / hotels. The shop is great, stocking some named apparel and gifts etc…I ended up having to buy some new flip-flops and a straw hat whilst there and I can happily report that have lasted the journey home and are now a staple part of my travel attire.

All in all it is a great location, great accommodation and a hidden gem of a place to stay!

Room Tip: Sea View rooms are all on the front above the 'La Kiki Cafe' but some of the side rooms will...

We have been travelling to Ibiza for many years and stayed at several hotels and apartments.
What can I say. The apartments were excellent cleaned by staff who were attentive and pleasant. The recption, considering we arrive after mid night was pleasant and quick. Oyr flight home was early in the morning and we were able to keep our room at a very low rate. Would westay here again? Certainly but only if we can have room 101. Marks out of 10 it has to be 10. Benefits of an excellent reatrauant in Kiki. Across the road from the beach. Pink Panther/Liberties and Don Juangive you a friendly reception. For a special meal try Sa Flam on the beach. Value for money all round. Planning next years trip at the moment.

Room Tip: Request a seaview

I must admit we stayed in San Antonio area because of the cheapest prices for August, otherwise would have stayed in some other area of the Island.
Despite this issue with the location, have to say the apartments are very good value, they are not far from all the action of San Antonio (once again, if you are into it...) yet quiet area.
We were a party of 3 Spaniards, so obviously felt a bit out of context in a 100% British populated area. But of course, had a great time with the Brits at the pool or common areas.

Apartments are nice, spacious and clean. The ladies will clean the room very often, which is quite uncommon in a beach apartment, so that´s a very good point. Apartments are located just in front of a nice beach, and just 15 minutes walk from all the action/restaurants/clubs/bars...

Prices were cheap for August and a last minute booking, so if you find reasonable rates for this apartment, don´t doubt it and book it.

When we arrived at the hotel the woman who met us acted like she didnt know we would be arriving and worse that she would rather we werent there.

We stayed for one night and there was no security working at all. We had a group of Irish lads approx 6 18-24 year olds, who brought some girls back. On the other side of us there was some more Irish lads. Woke us up at 3am and kept us awake until 9am when they finally heard us slamming on the wall with a deodorant can. Called the reception from 3:30am until they stopped the music, no answer. So we were left with no option that to suffer the music. Heavy bass, drum and bass, hard trance. If we were in a group of lads of 4 we might have knocked on but there was a big group of them and didnt want any trouble.

The hotel is not bad, not as good as the reviews but ok. We had a great view of the sea, the bay and the sunset but who watches the sunset from your hotel room. Pool area was ok and the room was very clean. Wouldnt go back.
