We stayed 9 nights at the Ibiza Rocks apartments and after reading the reviews on Trip Adviser, we were pleasantly surprised on the standard when we arrived. It was clean and comfortable for our stay in Ibiza, however I think we may of been lucky, talking to other guests it may appear we had the "showroom apartments" as others weren't to the same standard. The pool was also clean and proved to be a quiet retreat away from the mayhem at the main Ibiza Rocks pool, we often had the whole thing to ourselves. While the apartments were ok, we knew friends that stayed here last year and paid far less then we did and there place this year was the same standard for much less. You are paying for the "Ibiza Rocks" brand which isn't all it's cracked up to be.
You are paying for the Ibiza Rocks brand, a brand that now I have experienced I would not recommend nor wish to use again. As a customer I felt under valued as soon as I parted with money. You are restricted on any food or drinks from the main pool areas (this includes water...which is I believe a basic human right), to attend the gigs you must pick up a wrist band between 2-7pm if not you won't be allowed access (we we're told by one host that we didn't have to do this and nearly didn't get entry!). I can only think they do this so they can resell your ticket at the box office. Prices at the pool are one price during the day and then are hyped up on gig days, for example a beer was 4.5 euros and then 6 euros on a gig night, this applied to hotel guests as well as well. There was no cash bar, everything was on an prepaid tab which you couldn't use on gig nights.
Gig nights operated on tokens and these are non refundable, we we're told that we could keep any unused ones and use at the next gig night, this was untrue and we ended up wasting 20 euros as they change the colour of the tokens for the next two gigs. When we complained to a "host" we we're told that we couldn't of been told this and that maybe we could get one new token for two and if we could point the person who told us this out she could tell them off!!! As a customer we we're made to feel as if we we're not valued, the customer service was rubbish and I would not recommend staying anywhere this brand operates.
I'd also recommend if staying at the apartments not to use the transfer, see if you can share a cab at the airport with someone. We we're dropped off outside the main hotel and left, when we asked a host where to go he pointed down the road and said that way, really helpful. On check put you can't keep your luggage at the apartments and have to drag all your belongings to the main hotel where you belongings are kept in an unsecured room, transfer pick up again isn't at the main hotel and you have to figure that out by yourself.
If the apartments weren't associated with the brand I would suggest risking it, but as it isn't I would say avoid Ibiza Rocks and spend your money on else where.
Ask for a room near the pool, you can go back and drink

Thank you for taking the time to review Ibiza Rocks Apartments.
Firstly, I am glad you found the standard of the room of a good standard and you were pleasantly surprised with the Ibiza Rocks Apartments in general, we do advertise the property as a more chilled out option to the main events hotel so I am pleased you took advantage of this.
We do not restrict our customers of water around the pool, as we agree this would be a basic human right too! You can purchase all food and drink from the pool bar, which would be the same case in majority of hotels in Ibiza. To attend gigs at Ibiza Rocks Hotel you do need to collect a wristband between 2-7pm, as do all Ibiza Rocks guests. This however, is not to re-sell your gig ticket, as we do not provide our staying customers with tickets as it is all pre-paid within the cost of your stay. The reason we issue these wristbands is because on gig nights we invite a large number of non-guests into the Ibiza Rocks Hotel, this wristband proves that you are a current guest and maintains all of our guests safety and security.
The reason why you are not able to use your cash card during gig nights, is because again we invite a huge number of non-guests into the hotel on gig nights so it would end up being very confusing taking both cash and cash cards at the bar, this would cause longer waits at the bar, with such a large crowd this would become a problem.
We pride ourselves on our customer service, and strive to always deliver excellent customer service to our guests. We value all of our customers, and encourage any issues to be reported in resort so that we can resolve any problems you may have before you leave to go home.
I would strongly discourage anyone from sharing a taxi from the airport to Ibiza Rocks apartments with people they do not know, for your own safety and security as this could be very dangerous. We offer a safe and popular shuttle service that regularly runs to and from the airport to Ibiza Rocks Hotel. The Ibiza Rocks Apartments are a short walk away from the hotel, and very easily located, I apologise that you did not find the service seam free, the driver and hosts should of made sure you were happy with the direction of the Ibiza Rocks Apartments. We do have a luggage room at the Ibiza Rocks hotel which is actually locked at all times, the key is kept behind reception but we do recommend you do not leave any valuables here as it is shared with all hotel guests.
Majority of our customers have a great time when staying with us at Ibiza Rocks, I am sorry you cannot agree for your stay. I am confident that if you choose to stay at Ibiza Rocks again we can change your opinion!
