“Lovely hotel, Great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2012

Lovely hotel set in pretty surroundings. Staff very friendly and helpful, rooms cleaned regulary with fresh towels. The hotel is in a great location about 5 min walk to pubs and nightclubs Eden and Es Paridis are just around the corner but no noise heard from them at the hotel. 10 min walk to the west end and Mambos sunset bars. local bus station is just behind the hotel and very useful to hop onto the nightbus to get to and from the bigger nightclubs which are further away such as Amnesia, 3 euros for one way trip and run very late into the night/morning. The bars in the bay are fab for warm ups gigs, Ibiza rocks, Linikers and Ithica. Room walls are a bit thin so some noise heard. Food good but repetitive. The pool area to the back of the hotel is great.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor for pretty views

Me and 2 friends stayed at hotel Es Pla August 2011 on our first trip to Ibiza. Not knowing what to expect we were all pleasantly surprised by the hotel. It matched exactly what we were looking for for the holiday, a clean hotel, good food, nice pool area, all inclusive bar until 11pm and within walking distance of San Antonio's main strip. The location was ideal, we were within less than a few minutes walk of club Eden, which was handy for most of the nights out.
I would recommend you stay here if looking for a decent place to stay whilst partying, and the hotel was far enough out to get a decent sleep if wanted a quieter night.

The hotel was in a very good location very close to the bars and night life but far enough away not to get disturbed by the noise and you could have a quiet life if you wanted.. Food got very repetitive after a while, just same night after night, probably better just as a base and to eat at the bars and restaurants along the bay. Pool cleaniness was lacking abit, leaves, cigerette buts and abit of mould in the pool, could be better but not a spoiler. All other parts of the hotel were spotless and no problems. Overall good and would recommend.

Booked up for a week at the beginning of September, and we couldn't fault the hotel close enough for the bars etc. but not too close to the hustle and bustle that it would spoil your holiday, room was cleaned every day towels changed everyday, food was o.k and the staff where very polite and attentive if you needed their help. 2 good sized swimming pools as well it really has something for everyone.

Noise is a massive problem for this hotel. It's not helped by the fact that it is poorly constructed and the walls are paper thin.

Every night was disturbed by drunken teenagers shouting and slamming doors after returning from the pubs and clubs. Some nights this continued until 6am. One memorable night a person spent 30 minutes being sick and wretching outside our room. Charming! From 7am the families wake-up and you will hear children shouting, running up and down the corridors and slamming doors.

Cleaning in the hotel is a big issue. Our room had used cotton wool buds and toe nail clippings left from previous occupants.

Room Tip: Hotel is on a busy road.

I stayed there with 9 Lads!
We have stayed in Ibiza quiet a few times - and stayed in hotel with House music playing all day and all night - not that we are getting old BUT it was nice to stay in a hotel with no THUMPING music at all!

The pool areas (two pools) were relaxing - and the drinks were very good prices!
The rooms were always kept clean and the bathrooms were really nice!
The reception constantly smelt nice!

The hotel cost £150 (or close to) for 5 nights, I was expecting a 'hell hole' but it was the best £150 I have spent!

It was walking distance to 'the egg' (2 mins) which was perfect!

Family and friends would benefit from this hotel! (friends only come here is you've done Ibiza before and you want a rest from the BOOM BOOM BOOM)

Room Tip: The boys went here last year and said the rooms above the pool are the best due to the massive balon...
