just back last night from a week in the hotel and i as many would have been put off by the reviews from last year well its either a differant hotel or things have changed drastically. We have had such a good time i will be booking next year we have an 8 year old who we hardley saw due to the vast array of activites on offer. hotel and pool very clean, food excellant some complained that there was not much choice well i managed to have a different meal at every visit. I did not see any off the entertainement although i herd it was really good, vast array of drinks on the all inclusive list and all full strength. Rooms clean and very good air con maid service fantastic room was spottless every day. all in all a fantasic holiday even the sun shone for the whole week bar 4 hours off cloud

Hello all , just arrived fron the Tanit this morning after two great weeks (9 of us age range 10-67) we went 3 years ago and had a fab time then (I wont go into slamming of the odd door at 4 in the morning or the shouting in the corridor now and again the kid crying etc ,you get that in EVERY hotel ANYWHERE ....Period ..if you cant hack that then stay home ),when we booked for this year we had the concerns over last years 'French ' problem which I am pleased to inform is over, we can have full use of the quiet pools by the tennis courts.The food is very good with the usual wide salad selection,fresh and cooked vegetables superb meats and casserole options .a griddle section withfresh beef steak,pork ,chicken breast,fish etc,(and of course burgers)no major queing,
The sunloungers were easy to get
Rooms were spotless all air con
The little beach Super
Barstaff were very friendly and plentiful as were the reception staff
the Thomson reps ...well were just Tomson reps,, trips etc one did not know where the medical centre was ..(its at the end of the road into the Tanit over the roundabout on the right ,cant miss it.dont forget your nhs european medical card and take your passport )
The daytime activities are the usual shooting,archery, french boules etc all done superbly by Andy,D.j.zlatty and the team
Night time entertainment is ok it has just started getting outside pro acts in as we left, the team do there best with what they have ... the one thing we didnt have at first was a sea viev which we asked for we were at the back with a car park panorama the hotel wanted 14 euro per night for an exchange even though only a dozen or so poolside rooms were being used , go down give them a little sob story etc it worked for us .All in all a great holiday.

We were very nervous about going to the Fiesta Tanit after reading last years reviews and we nearly cancelled, however, we had a brilliant time. I understand why people were complaining about the lack of sunbeds in July and August but the pool area is as large as any other complex we have been to, you will find that pools are overcrowded peak season at any large family hotel. We did have access to the other pool but to be honest I can't understand why everyone last year expected to use the other hotels pool, how many hotels in the world offer the use of another hotel's pool, ok it was a sister hotel but it too has its own guests to accommodate. The beach was large enough and a short distance away so if you can't get a sunbed take a trip down there, however note that sunbeds are 4 euros each. The food was great for the amount of people they had to cater for and the entertainment albeit a little cheesy was fantastic for children and isn't that why you would book a holiday at a superfamily hotel. They fiesta reps kept smiling all day and night and managed to make even the most miserable holidaymakers smile. We would definately go back but there are so many places to see it probably won't be for a while. Good value for money and alround a brilliant holiday.

My family and I have been going to the Hotel Tanit for 8 years, we love it. The staff, entertainment, beautiful view of the sea and the general relaxing lifestyle is a must see.

As soon as we return..................we say we are not going again however we have booked again for a 9th year in September :-)

We were a little concerned last year about the comments concerning the French (new hotel), lack of sunbeds and busy hotel. If you go in the busy season you are going to get Lack off sunbeds and expect it to be busy where ever you go, and I feel the comments concerning the French are a persons opinion.
