“loved it would go back”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2011

This is a great hotel for couples who want to have a good time in the evening.
But not be on the doorstep of it all.
It is a bit of a walk to the west end but sunset boulevard is around the corner.
Hotel is clean and staff are friendly.

Room Tip: sea view rooms a must

We took our daughter (age 4) and it was ok but nothing special. The location was great and the place was clean and tidy and the staff were pleasant, not a rowdy place. The only issue was the food, very limited choice, infact very poor but on the upside the breakfast was ok..

Fantastic views, professional staff, great pool, not too many kids, great little apartment style rooms. By far one of the best hotels in San An. The Bellamar is also very good, but I like to have a kitchenette. Will stay here again!

The hotel has a great location 1km or so from Sant Antoni. The hotel is away from the town and the clubing scene! Free parking in secure garage under the hotel. Friendly check-in staff. Large rooms with kitchenette, table, etc. Balcony with table and chairs overlooking pool area and out to sea. Room cleaned daily and, like rest of hotel, cleaned to a good standard. Double beds are two singles pushed together. Nice pool area with plenty of loungers and space. Bar service around pool area and small meals available at lunch. Breakfast in large room. Good selection of food at breakfast and a singing waiter! Small bay in front of hotel with sandy beach, great for a swim. Great sunsets to be watched from the hotel or one of the (quite expensive) restaurants along the seafront. 15-minute walk to the town centre and clubs. Plenty of reasonably-priced places to eat around hotel, and small shops too. Some nice walks along the coast too. Free internet available around hotel, but not always reliable (depends where you are). We were flying out from Ibiza in the evening, but this was no problem for the hotel who provide luggage storage, changing rooms, bathrooms and showers, and towels for you to use all day after you've checked out. A really nice touch. Yes, stay at this hotel if your want a good break.

I have passed this hotel for years and thought how nice it looked , so this year we booked . I requested a non smoking room and a sea view ,we got neither ,told by a rather stroppy receptionist that it was only a request ,i paid an extra 84 euro and got a sea view . The room has a small kitchen area of which the fridge had the last occupants food still in and a dirty chopping board was stored here also . The bath had ciggerette burns on the edge and on the base . The water did not drain when using the shower . so i bought some cleaning stuff scrubbed the fridge ,so i could put some water and juice in it . I scrubbed the bath and put some stuff down the drain only for a huge ammount of black slime to come out when i ran the hot tap to rinse , shower with your plug in then rinse your feet is my advice . We were also dissapointed with the food every thing was tepid at best even when the staff had just replenished . If you want to stay in your hotel one evening sit on soft furnishings maybe watch a show ,this hotel is not for you no comfy seats or entertainment . The nice thing was a local wedding held at the hotel ,but you had to be away from the pool by 7.30 and for dinner (which we did not stay for) were put in a tiny corner and rushed through ,however the bride looked stunning . They also another evening had a presentation for a group of cyclists so no chance of a nightcap that evening either .I was so dissapointed with the hotel .

Having been to Ibiza many times before, we always chose a cheap 2 star hotel but this time we are a little bit older and wanted somewhere much nicer. We weren't expecting much for Spain and the 4 star rating. We did read many reviews and this seemed to have the best ones for our 4 star budget without wanting to spend over £200 per night at a place like the Pacha hotel. Me and my partner went and we stayed half board, all we can say is that you couldn't fault it, the place was clean, the room was big, larger than most places we've stayed in and we do travel quite a bit. We liked the fact that the room had a sofa (which pulled into a bed) with a cooker, toaster, kettle, sink, fridge, microwave, iron, hairdryer, free air con (which worked) a safe which you had to pay for, the bathroom was clean and so was the room up to good standards with 2 twin beds put together. We had a balcony facing onto the street but you could also have a room with a balcony facing the pool area. The pool was nice and quiet with mostly couples staying there, no roudy youngsters. You didn't need to bring beach towels as you pay 15 euros each and you get a fresh beach towel each day, then they refund you the money at the end of your holiday. You had free internet and there was some hotel entertainment , we saw a magician which was good. The staff were very pleasant. The food was average, not fantastic, but good enough to eat and plenty of choice and the best thing was they gave you a complimentary drink with dinner and that included a bottle of wine for the 2 of you! You can't beat that. For breakfast you had toast, croissants, pastries, fruit, yoghurt, boiled/fried/scrambled eggs, baked beans and other hot bits to choose from. We would definitely return and recommend this hotel. It is an ideal location for the sun set bars, 5-10 mins walk. We won't be staying at another 2/3 star hotel in Ibiza.

I've been to Ibiza many times and stayed in many hotels. This one did the little things right, didnt treat us any different because we're not Spanish and was great to stay at. We couldnt get a sea view room but I did book it very late, so no worries with that. They did actually try to change rooms if there were any cancellations, but it wasnt possible.

The bathroom was great, the room had black-out curtains (great if you want to sleep in late), the breakfast was great, the pool was really nice with a sea view and it is right on a small beach away from the chaos of san antonio.

Nearby are the sun set bars like Kanya and there is one next to the hotel called Golden Buddah which has loud bass and a good sound system.

The only down sides are that sometimes the nearby bar's music gets mixed with the hotels music, which can be annoying. Also, the TV's in the rooms are old (but do have cable - only in Spanish or German except for BBCNews24). Lastly, the maids did clean the room well but didnt refill the shampoo etc.

The hotel is nice, in a great location (within walking distance to anything in San An) - 28 euros from the airport Mon - Sat and 34euros on a sunday. I will definetly go back to this hotel and only recomment booking early and requesting a sea view room so you can see the sunset from your balcony.
