Hotel is situated in great location just between san antonia bay and san antonia making it great for being just outside the main drag in the day but not too far to walk at night.

The hotel is pretty basic but covers what you need. We were only there for 4 nights and it was fine. The beds are a bit 'camp bed' style and moved whenever you turned over and one had a broken matress but thats my only complaint. Due to the position of the hotel you have to be un lucky not to get a sea view room and the views are great. The beach is a minute walk from the hotel and whilst it can get busy we never had a problem getting a good spot. Sand is nice and clean especially the end near the hotel.

Meals are buffet style and again is what you would expect from a 3 star hotel. We only ate breakfast there and there was always plenty of choice.

In the evening you can walk into san antonio and enjoy all the clubs and bars until you are ready to drop. The walk is about 15 minutes to the main centre but there are bars along the sea front to keep you going - my fave being bay bar. Only downside is that to get to Cafe Mambo etc it is a good 45 min walk.

I believe if you turn right out of the hotel that side is more family friendly.

I felt this hotel is great if you are looking for a reasonably priced holiday with a good location but dont want to be right in the thick of it.

As for Ibiza - it was my first time and i loved it !!!!!

2 Adult travellers - late 20's early 30's.
I really enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Hawaii. The room was very clean - excellent air-con - and I found a very high percentage of staff very friendly and helpful - particularly the bar staff.
The only thing that annoyed me was people taking sunloungers (placing a towel on them) and then going off for several hours - with it being peak season - there were sometimes no sun loungers available. This is not a major thing as there is a beach near-by - literally a one minute walk! - where sunloungers and umbrellas can be hired for the day.
There is a hotel ferry which saves a lot of walking 2 euros per person, per trip!
The Hotel is, in my opinion, in the perfect location as I didn't want to be out in the sticks or in the thick of all the noise.
The food was excellent and the restaurant well staffed and kept in order - tables cleared promptly so many tables available to dine.
My partner and I loved walking round to Cafe Mambo and Del Mar to watch the sunset. Although expensive to drink round there eg. bottle of rose wine 22 euros! House Rose in restaurant elsewhere 9 euros!
An excellent restaurant we dined at called S'Embarcador is right near the hotel and has fantastic views of the harbour - well worth a look - although it is pricey.
I would defo go back to Ibiza and would stay at the Hawaii.

Food is excellent. Location is also the best (beach just next to the hotel). The wait staff speak Spanish (little English, often wrong orders). The reception staff speak German, but are unhelpful and RUDE (The lift is out - DIE ANDERE!!!). They have a sign in Spanish, but refused to provide the same info in English for 2 young Brits (regarding taxis). The left lift is semi-functional (you have to fight your way out or walk). The right one is good, but was not working three times this week. The doors are incredibly loud, especially the English at 5AM (Brum). Eurovision singing at 6AM was most unwelcome (Mancusians). The A/C sucks smoke from other rooms, so everyone enjoys the cig (or not). The minidisco started at 8:45 PM and then they had BINGO for an hour in English/French/Spanish/German and then the entertainment at 10:30 or later. For small children, it was inappropriate. Cleaning of the rooms was at various times of the day and impossible to figure out. We had to request at reception and so it was 3x in a week (towels once). We left with 8 empty water bottles in the rubbish. A definite miss for next season.
