“great place to stay on a budget”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2013

I thought I would try a campsite and it was what I wanted. price was perfect, the management were friendly. my only concern was the toilet area which did smell a bit. maybe the cleaners just need to use domestos bleach or a more powerful cleaning agent to scrub the toilets and floors. they were cleaned a few times a day though. the showers were powerful enough. the location was a five minute walk to the "egg" in the town. all in all a great place to stay.

Room Tip: get a shaded area to pitch your tent

I had a nice time in this camping quite and welcome pla¬ce. The pool place leaded by Valter is really Ibiza s mood and this chef prepares nice food as u want. It’s a very fresh atmosphere and beside the bus station that takes u to Envisa and also just 7 min from the city center of Santo Antonio. Price was the best and Marco is a really easy going guy that makes what is in his hands to make you have a nice party time in Ibiza. He is a local so will give you advice about everything. For sure I will come back to Ibiza and it’s there that I m going to stay, probably in the best bungalow that Marco has to offer as I pretend to come back with many other friends.

Thanks Marco and Valter for the great time.

The camping has an excelent location, nearby the San Antonio Bay and all the nightlife, nearby the bus station and nearby the cheapest supermarket in ibiza (Lidl).
The staff very polite, nice and allways helpfull.
The bungalow that I stayed was funny, very clean and had nice facilities.

We had a great week staying at the San Antonio Camp sight. It is in a perfect location, taking just 5 mins to walk to beach or bars. There is a Lidl right next to it as well meaning you can stock up on food and drink whenever you need. We stayed in tents during our visit however bungalows and bunks were available to rent as well. Staying in the tent in August in Spain was definitely a shock to us coming from Scotland. It was boiling!!! But I think we picked the least shady part of the camp site. So if you do end up camping there in summer find a very shady spot to avoid waking up very very sweaty like we did.

The facilities there are great: Toilets, hot and cold showers, a swimming pool and a bar. Its not really missing anything for the price you are paying. The toilets and showers were cleaned every day so they were always in a more than acceptable condition. The pool was also cleaned everyday and is perfect for jumping into when you need to cool off! There is also a table and bench area where you can sit and prepare you own food if you want.

The staff there were extremely helpful, telling us the best beaches to go to and anything else we wanted to know. They also kept all our valuables in a safe for us during our stay.

I would recommend San Antonio Camping to anyone who wants to go to Ibiza and wants to save some money. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Staff were very helpful when arriving very late at night. Some of the staff members English was very limited but they tried very hard to make us feel welcome, advising us where to set up camp to avoid sunlight and lending us a torch to set up in the dark.

When we woke up and explored the site by daylight we were pleased with our plot as it was spacious and in the shade. The other campers were all very pleasant and respectful, no late night parties or noise, which meant we could sleep on our return from nights out on the Ibiza party scene.

The site had a male and female toilet block, most of them clean and working fine, a hot shower block, but very basic cooking/cleaning facilities. The pool and bar was situated under trees which was had welcoming shade, however, this also meant the pool often had lots of tree debris in it. The bar offered reasonable priced drinks, great coffees and beer, shame the tables and chairs were often dusty and sticky. I was surprised when I was told no lilos in the pool considering the picture on this review site.

We felt confident leaving our belongings in our tent, especially considering the location being so close to the bustling party strip of San Antonio, staff were always available at reception and were attentive of who was leaving and entering late at night.

For the price, this campsite more than delivers for its service and facilities.
