“Brilliant and cheap”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2014

Stayed at this hotel back in July. Nice hotel, rooms are very clean and just what you need for somwhere you're just getting ya head down! Cheap food and drinks serves at the bar, little supermarket next door that sold a litre of vodka for 8 euros so you can just drink in your room before going out! 10 Mintue walk from the beach and the west end strip! You will get constantly hassled on the beach by reps to buy tickets but that's ibiza for you! Only downside I had to this holiday was the 18-30 reps at the hotel, they came knocking on out door at 7am after getting there at and finally checking in a 5am and the don't stop trying to get you to buy the weeks events package we just bought one ticket for the full moon party and it was not worth the 30 or 40 euros we paid! The reps really only go round talking to and having a laugh with the people who had bought the whole package not once the week we was the did the reps talk to us! But apart from that it was a great holiday and a great hotel to stay at. Would stay again :)

Went here with 18-30. Cost only £157 with flights (last minute deal) Stayed here with my friend, just the 2 of us.
Pros: Good service and good value for money.
Cons: No fridge in the room!, poor location and found a massive cockroach in our room!
Personally wouldnt stay here again, but if your just looking for something very cheap and basic, its fine.

Alot of the reviews are offputing but dont let them put you off using this hotel, when booking i didnt expect much as i asked for generally the cheapest holiday in the travel agents.
The hotel was clean, staff were friendly and there was a great atmosphere about the hotel.
The bar/pool area was clean and the drinks at the bar were very reasonably priced. The only downside to the pool was that you never got a lounger as they wer taken by 9am. The reps wer great but abit pushy to get you to buy a weeks worth of events, the only one i would reccomend bookin would be the sunset booze cruise which was absolutley fantastic!
It was abit noisey at night but what can you expect from a 18-30 hotel and it died down after midnight when everybody went out. There was also a supermarket next door that sold really cheap vodka for only 9€ which was great for saving money
Overall i would defo return to this hotel as it was great value for money and a great atmosphere

Me and my friend booked apolo for two weeks in aug, we were a bit sceptical at first with the name ‘hostal’ and some of the images and reviews stating its location but just hoped for the best.

Well let me say this is one of the most friendliest and secured hotel I have stayed in (apart from Tropical) and I have stayed in a fair few. The staff were amazing especially the maid and restaurant manager, she would give us free shots to keep the spirit high.
We ended up with a massive room two balcony’s which was awesome. The Food in the pool bar was cheap & tasty = perfect for a party holiday, especially the chicken curry  the booze was cheap to €2 for a Corona.
You had to pay for your aircon which is standard with all hotels we bought it for the full two weeks because the heat in the rooms was unbearable, they have safe which is in the reception area they get locked up by midnight and there is a night guard on all night with camera’s through all corridors (1st hotel in Ibiza I have been to with this – bearing in mind its 18-30’s)
Yes you have to pay €50pp for your deposit but you get it back when you hand your keys in no bother.

Poolside beds are gone by 9.30AM so set that alarm!
Breakfast isnt much, ham cheese bread, breadrolls jam tea and coffee - most of us made ham an cheese toastie easy hangover cure and saves your money on food.

Only downside about this hotel is the walking distance to the west end and at night coming back herd some dodgy stories whilst we were there but if you all stick together its OK. We got taxis most night but again that can be difficult especially if there is big nights on.
Id recommend going down to Savannah for food and drinks to start with it plays all house music and the food and cocktails are amazing (during the sunset) it’s a great atmosphere.

Definitely would book Apolo AGAIN and will recommend to anyone

Room Tip: Request top floor room 416 its huge Hire AIRCON GET your poolside beds before 9.30am

Came here for a Club 18-30 holiday. Place was basic, but very clean and tidy. All you need for a clubbing holiday! Pool was excellent, Bar was cheap and served good food throughout the day. Reps and hotel staff friendy and helpful. Noise at night was a lot less than I though it was gonna be! Hell, the whole place should be one big 24hr party anyway!

What I really liked was the fact that the hotel was not that big, so it had more of an "intimate" atmosphere and wasn’t' crowded.

Vending machine in lobby which serves a good can of beer 24hrs for 1 Euro!

Really can't fault the place!

Will be returning in 2014!

This was my first holiday away without my mum, and I wasnt expecting much, but I thought Hotel Apolo was really good for its money! What do people expect, yes the rooms are plain, but you arent going to be in your room much, your meant to be out partying the whole time in Ibiza. Its just a place to rest your head. The drink measurements are value for money! The pool is a good size. The food served in Hotel Apolo was delicious and was cheap. The Reps were really pushy to make you buy their deals, but you just have to be firm. We bought one of them which was the Sunset Cruise for 35€ which was basically a boat party and it was really good fun. Down the westend and along the beachfront, reps and PRs are really annoying. The first few dont bother me, but when youve been asked 20 times to come into their bars it gets annoying. Do not go to this hotel if you wanting a relaxing holiday, infact dont go to Ibiza if your wanting a relaxing holiday! Its all about the partying :))) In the local supermarkets a litre bottle of vodka is about 7€ which really is value for money! I loved Ibiza and Hotel Apolo and would return in a heartbeat. The only thing I would change about my holiday, would be the length. 2 weeks was too long for my first holiday. A week next time will be plenty. Really recommend this hotel.
