“An institution!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2013

With my family I've been going here for more than 20 years and have NEVER been disappointed. It's an ideal place if you've got kids. They just love the freshly baked pizzas while grown-ups have a choice of a full menu which is a mix of favourites, Spanish and Italian.
You can sample everything from pasta to steaks to fresh fish from the display cabinet. There really is something for everybody and it's served by a crew of mature and experienced waiters.
The courtyard setting is glorious and the atmosphere very relaxing. They've been in business for 30 odd years, so they must be doing something right !!

“Newly found gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

Looking for a paint shop, we came across Manolo. Pretty spanish courtyard restaurant with very pleasant staff who did speak a little bit of English . Large menu to choose from - from steaks to pizza to paella to fresh fish which was on display. We choose the whitebait in floor and lemon, they were amazing, best fish I've ever had. Plenty to fill 3 people for a starter! We also had the sardines which were great. I had the veal stroganoff for main which was lovely. Highly recommend for a leisurely cheap night out. Visited again 6 days later. Loved it.

“Great food, great service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2013

We came across this really nice restaurant on our last night. The food was great and the staff incredibly friendly; they got the balance between attentive but not over-the-top just right. Definitely recommend a visit!

“Good little spot”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013

I’ve had some good meals here, it’s more of a mix between Spanish and Italian foods, the pizzas I’ve tried have been very nice and my wife had the lasagne which was good, we’ve been here a few times as we are guaranteed a nice meal for a good price, the service is very friendly too. The lemon tart is very tasty with a real zest to it, I recommend you try it.
It’s true that parking can be a little hard but we all ways find an empty spot not too far way, so I don’t consider this an issue at all.
The outside seating is great for family and couples, with a quaint romantic feel to it which is great on warm summer nights.

“Fire crackers & fab food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2012

Walked to this restaurant from the Barcello Hotel (20 mins walk) on the night that Spain played Portugal in the European Cup. Hence it was very quiet. We shared a large plate of fried anchovies as a starter which were delicious and then one of us had entrecôte with green pepper sauce - a good cut of beef & very tasty, while two of us shared a lobster paella which was epic. Fantastic food, good wine (2 bottles of white Vino Sol) & a bill for 98 euros. Great value for money. Service was attentive & professional bringing clean ashtrays & topping up wine & water, and the terrace was very pleasant, shielded from the road by plants with old farming equipment on the walls. Nothing could shield us from the noise of car horns & fire crackers when Spain won on penalties though! A great evening.
