This restaurant was recommended by a British couple who vacationed 2-3 times a year in the area. While the site is very lovely with a great outdoor venue, the meal was disappointing. Actually the food might not have been so bad had we not waited so long for everything. It is par to expect service to be slow compared to the US. We expect that no worries, but it was beyond normal European timing. We waited 45 minutes to have our order taken.
Oh and make sure you understand the terms for the lobster. They list the lobster at 35 euro/kilo, but
you need to specify how much you want or be prepared to spend a lot. Our table ordered the lobster and ended up w/ 1.85 kilo lobster. Surprise! Also, those at our table who asked for steaks cooked medium received theirs bloody rare. So make sure you convey what medium means to you (No sangre). This restaurant is a tad pricey, so the service should have been excellent. Would not recommend for the value and the service.

Thank you for your review.
First of all, I would like to clear up the confusion as to the price of the lobster; the price on our special menu at the moment is 35 euros per half a kilo, in other words 70 euros per kilo, which is about 30 to 70 euros more inexpensive than in other restaurants of the area. You can easily check this up at the website of other restaurants, due to which we are quite affortable as to our seafood pricing.
The waiter taking the command showed and informed you the weight of the lobster before taking it into the kitchen and you agreed as you thought the price was 35 euros per kilo, you could said that it was too big and that you was going to take other main course. The cost price of this type of blue lobster (homarus gammarus) is more than 35 euros per kilo and is quite different from the more inexpensive Maine lobster (homarus americanus), more common in the U.S., but which we don’t appreciate that much in Europe. If we had only charged you 35 euros per kilo, we wouldn’t even have covered the cost of the product.
With regards to the long wait for us to take your command, I apologize, if this was the case, allthough it takes some more time to take the order when ordering lobster; meanwhile the waiter picks it up from the aquarium, weights it in the kitchen, shows it to the client and takes it back to the kitchen and then takes note of the whole order. Our restaurants opens up for dinner at 7:30pm and the opening time of your table that night is 7:41pm for the aperitives. Some persons of your table also arrived 35 min later, so we waited to take the order for the whole table. If you didn't want to wait for the others to arrive, you could have asked the waiter to take the order, and at that time the restaurant wasn't busy.
With regards to the meat, if you prefer not to have any blood in your steak, that would be well done for a Spaniard. Some persons in your table ordered their steaks medium, which we understand half cooked. If they’d asked us to cook the steaks a bit more, we would have been more than happy to do so.
