Looking for a great place to spend our first evening in the Algarve we tried this restaurant going by another review which raved about its " outstanding food".
Its situated on the side of a hill with great views and all looked cozy when we arrived.
The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. The menu though, was dull, pub-food like, and not very Portuguese ( which we had hoped for).
I had the lamb which was like a tv dinner and my husband a steak which was very tough. The wine turned out to be the most expensive (42 EUR) bottle we bought during our stay. It was too warm by far and the least superior.
This could be a fantastic place if it were not for the poor quality food and rather on the expensive side at that.
On the upside, its great for families with children, but for "foodies", look elsewhere.
