“Beautiful sand beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2012

Long beach is the best place. Since I have 10 months old boy, he enjoyed playing in the sand. Most of the beaches in Montenegro are stone beaches and that is what makes Long beach unique. Water is wonderful and shallow water extends up to 500 meters from the beach so we really enjoyed playing in the water. There are many sports activities available on the beach.

“Good for children”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2011

Long Beach = Velika Plaza is a very long sand beach in Ulcinj. Although there's no admission, if you need a sunbeam -and you certainly need it- with two sunbeds, you have to pay 5 euros/day for the set. It's cheap and thanks to the lazy inspectors, some days they just forget to ask you to pay.

There are lots of faux sunglasses, perfumes and jewelry to buy, just for a laugh Armani ripoffs with Pradda (Pradda!) logos. Much more interesting, little boys and girls selling kikirika -which means peanut-, krofnje -doughnuts- and some weird red lollipop for 1 euro each.

The beach is superb for families with children because of the sand, and the water isn't deep, children can play safely.
