We heard about this while staying at a resort near Vicchio, a couple of fellow Texans said we had to try it out. I went in there expecting it to be ok but when I left my opinion changed greatly. When we sat down they gave us Salsa---- this was nice because we had not had any for several days and we are from San Antonio- Its in our blood. Next we talked to the owner and he was nice and very excited to have a Texan try there food. We had the ribs and the Brisket --- both were better than i could have imagined and i would say better than most BBQ places here in Texas. We then met the Pit Master who is from California--- He was very humble and even asked our opinions on the taste--- I gave him my opinions on a couple of things and he was very receptive and took what i said to heart. In the short time we were here we made two great friends and hope that when they come to Texas again we can have them as our guest for a couple of days and take them to some of the best BBQ places in the world so that they can get some more ideas. I wish them the best and know that Dads bbq will take of in italy. It is a big risk introducing this food into the tuscan country side and they are doing justice to not only the Cooking of BBQ but the culture and atmosphere that it brings when eating it. I cant wait to make it back and they added a great story to our honeymoon. Thanks guys and we wish you the best.
Thanks N Gig'em from the two Texas Aggie honeymooners. !!!!!
