When you see this place on a map you start to wonder. When you turn down the "road" to it you really wonder, then it gets more and more narrow, and you are sure you're going the wrong way, then you're there. Then they greet you and you see why people stay here. Very friendly and nice folks, maps given, brochures, restaurant advice, etc.
The room was basic and nice. My wife and I had the AC on for noise and slept great. Another couple with us didn't and heard dogs barking. The setting is tremendous, literally right in a grove of lemon trees. Breakfast was amazing. Tons of breads, pastries, cakes, and a rarity for Sicily, some protein. Eggs, deli meats, cheeses. Teas, coffees, juices, you wanted to go back to sleep after the huge breakfast.
The only downside was the WIFI signal was weak. Laptop barely got it, Ipad had to go outside to get. Fine for May, not good when it gets hot.
