“Great coffee, divine gelato”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2014

After lots of being pushed and shoved by crowd in this cafe, had really great coffee. Earlier had the best gelato of trip. Have to go there for the montezuma gelato. Divine!

“People Watching”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2014

We went to the Caffe Sicilia each day it was open while we were in Noto, sometimes for morning coffee and sometimes for an early evening glass of wine with snacks. We particularly enjoyed sitting at an outside table, since it is a very good spot for people-watching. We tried the cassata and connoli (very good) and the gelato (good but not exceptional). The cappuccinos were lovely, the wine good and the snacks provided with the wine were tasty and varied. Even more we enjoyed the atmosphere in the early evening. The waiter was very friendly and welcoming.

“great local snack”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 24, 2014

my gf and I were in Scicli over Easter 2014 and after a nice walk we were feeling a bit hungry so we asked some locals for a good place for having the arancini and other typical quick food. we were told to go this place and I had arancini while my GF had an icecream. both very good quality! recommended if you are looking for a quick bite on the go

“A Disappointing Tourist Trap.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2014 via mobile

We came here as lonely planet suggested it might be one of the best gelateria in the world. It was raining when we arrived so we opted to sit inside. There was a relatively modest selection of gelato flavours available and they were nice enough, but the portions we were given on a dish seemed rather small for the price. The real stinger though was the compulsory 22% service charge added to the already far higher than average price.
Had we just bought a gelato on a cone and ate it outside we may have had a better experience but as it was we felt ripped off.

“Cake Heaven in Noto.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2014

We were in Noto, one of the jewels of Sicilian Baroque architecture, as part of the Esplora Holidays, 'Montalbano' Tour based on the RAI 'Montalbano' Televison series.
Having explored around Noto, our Tour Manager, Damian Croft, suggested the Caffésicilia as being one of the famous institutions of Noto for coffee and luxury patticeria.
Sitting in the bright sunshine watching the world go by, we ordered up coffees, cakes and cannoli pasta. The cannoli pasta is different from the normal Sicilian cannoli with a thick custard filling and well worth trying.
The staff in the Caffésicilia were friendly and the service very good.
Coffees and luxury patticeria tasted wonderful and were well worth the money to have such good eats in a great location in Noto.
