The hotel has a good location, in a quiet place since it is out of everything, but if you want a well managed hotel, a clean accommodation and an easy access to the sea and to the touristic/shoping/cultural areas FORGET ABOUT IT! You are there at about 2 km of the nearest shoping centre, at about 5 km of the most important town (Aci Reale), at about 12 km from Catania (the capital city of the region; to get there, you have to pay about 40 EUR for a taxi cab). According to the reception guy, if you are not lucky you will receive a double room of about 10 (TEN!) sq m. The food is good, but they do not serve lunch and you are not allowed to have water, soft drinks or food in your room. The pool is partially sunny and rather not enough cleaned. The access to the sea is impossible due to the inaccessible rocks and to the rubish. The bar is closed, the fitnes centre is closed and you do not have satellite TV in your room (only 5 Italian programmes).

This hotel is not good enough for 2 stars not to mention the other two. For one thing, it is dirty and smelly inside and out. Then, they give you only one key per family. The requested baby crib was delivered to our room by the second night of us staying there. Photo camera disappeared from the room on first day. Location is extremely inconvenient. Food in the restaurant is uneatable.

First visit tio Sicily,so spent too much time on t/a web site!We had 9 nights,6 at this hotel and 3 in Mondello. We had a large room with a side view of the sea and large balcony. The beds were hard but quite comfortable. Some hallway and other room noise, but not to any serious problem.Very tiny shower and just 2 plactic chairs on balcony, that were taken away on 3rd day.
I found the lights in the room quite dim if you wanted to read.
Morning meals were disappointing for us.Generally the hotel has clean and comfortable public areas, but from the pool area there are no sea views. The hotel seems to receive mostly French and German guests. The area around was untidy and you would need a car to see the sights in the wider area.Big note of caution the locals driving standards are hectic, if someone hits you repair costs may still hit your credit card because unless you called the police the car hire company could well bill you.
Overall the east cost was interesring but we would not go back.

We stayed at the Park Hotel Capomulini during a convention held at Acireale, Sicily in June. The hotel has a very good location, i.e. an orange/blue bus stop up the hill in front of the hotel entry, the backdoor opens to the seashore and has nicely-paved boardwalk along the seaside view. To our surprise, about 10minutes walk, it ends at a local Despar supermarket with an attached art/craft shop which has quite a few local Sicily food (Lemoncello and local wines of course!) and the craft shop carries a counter of materials for hand-made earrings.

Hotel room is clean equipped with a loarge sofa and frig. it has one single bed with a queen size bed (combined with two single beds) in the same large room for our family of 3. My daughter is a dietician and she thought the food served at the hotel restaurant definitely meet all the standards: with variety of vege, seafood, meatgroups, pasta...etc., delicious and balanced meals. We thought the prices are rather good comparing to other high prices around most of Italy cities.

The hotel has a wireless internet connection. The front desk is open 7-24, people are very friendly and willing to help you out with translations (like to arrange pickup/drop off with a local Taxi driver...)

In all, the experience staying at the Capomulini Park Hotel was so good that when we come back we couldn't stop talking about Capomulini....
