Owner description: The archaeological site CRIPTA ROMANICA is an extraordinary place: 4,500 years of history can be touched within its walls! Romanesque sculpural remains, Gothic artworks, and Renaissance beauties can all be admired as well as ancient tombs and greek pottery. The apse of the Romanesque crypt built in the 12th century is still there to tell us the fascinating story of Bishop Romualdo's temple destroyed in 1742.
