“Execptional Hotel! You must stay here!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2013

WOW! An incredible place to stay and if you book a late deal incredible value for money. The hotel itself is beautiful and grand. Everything is huge, the gardens the cinema etc. Masses of parking available. The breakfast was the best we had in 2 weeks of travelling Italy. We stayed here to visit the Museo Mille Miglia. If this is your reason to stay its perfect and even lake Garda is only 20 mins away by car. Rezzato itself is a sleeply little town but Brescia is quite a large city, The hotel staff could not have been any more helpful. We stayed during a wedding and the waiters were adamant we sat with all the wedding guests which was lovely. I would recommend Andrea and Lorenzo as truly exceptional hosts! We will return but my advice would be there are hotels nearer to Garda sure but none will offer the experience of this place. INCREDIBLE!

We stayed at this hotel as a stopover on our way to Venice. The hotel is very impressive. Everything was big and spotless. The receptionist was very helpful. We were upgraded from a standard room to a deluxe room. The hotel has an old world atmosphere. We took a short walk outside the hotel but returned shortly after. We ended up driving to Brescia. We had a good supper at the hotel and a very good breakfast.

Beautiful hotel in a wonderful setting. Very central for visiting Lake Garda, Brescia,Verona and Bergamot The meal for the wedding reception was fantastic and the breakfasts were splendid. Both the bedroom and bathroom were spacious and very clean. Wonderful grounds for taking photographs.

placed close to Brescia (highway exit Brescia Est is the best one to reach it) and 20 km far away from Garda Lake, Villa Fenaroli is an historic villa (16th century) that has been arranged to become a good hotel and an excellent structure for meetings, conventions, weddings, ceremonies, etc.
have been there just for a day (and a night) as guest for a wedding, and the ceremony was awesome! Weather was helpful offering to all the guests a perfect Rinascimento atmosphere in such an enormous building, from gardens to lounges, restaurants and rooms !
my room was big and respecting in furniture the style of the Villa; good sleeping quality !
PLUS: awarded Cook for delightful meals !

A GREAT choice!!! Booked 2 nights in May 2013, stayed one more and were still left wanting MORE! The hotel is so stunningly beautiful and wonderfully charming. The room was very spacious and clean. Service was top notch. Breakfast was excellent. The staff was extremely helpful. Everything and everyone was perfect. We felt that we were part of the Italian family and we loved it. Thank you for making our stay so memorable ... we cannot wait to come back. Highly recommended! – Rossana, Canada

We stayed in early July with friends. We had only one night as a stopover on our way to Padua. It is different from the common ones around. You feel like a special guest in a private villa. Beautiful place is arguably more a museum than a hotel. Beautifully appointed rooms and excellent breakfast. The location is not suitable for this type of hotel.

My husband and I stayed at the Villa Fenaroli Palace whilst on a business trip to visit a local manufacturer. The company we were visiting arranged the accommodation for us. A car picked us up from Verona Airport. When the car turned into the long driveway up to the hotel all we could say was "wow"! The hotel has the most impressive facade (though if arriving by car watch out for the many potholes on the driveway). When we got inside we were not disappointed. There are, as other reviewers have reported, miles of tiled corridors, lit by energy saving lights with motion sensors. To us this added to the peace and serenity of the place. We stayed for 5 nights in total and for the most part the hotel was extremely quiet. We were surprised to learn that on one of the days we were there a wedding had taken place, but we neither saw nor heard any vestige of this. The decorative bar is one of the nicest I have seen, as is the comfortable sitting room next door. Service can be slow-a very enthusiastic young Italian barman doubled up as our waiter for the two evenings we ate in the hotel-but to be honest we felt so chilled out we did not care. The food was fantastic. My husband had a meat platter specially prepared by the Chef, and he said in his view the quality of food was better than Michelin star restaurants in Edinburgh we'd visited. The waiter recommended wine from the small winery in his village. What a treat: a fabulous, full bodied red that complimented our meat and home made gnocchetti dishes. On the second evening we ate in the hotel we were thrilled to find the quality of food and a different wine (again local, on recommendation) were excellent. Before dinner I had a couple of Bellinis which were better than I'd previously tasted in Harry's Bar in Venice. I was ill on one day (nothing to do with the drink or the hotel!), and had to stay in bed all day. The reception staff directed my husband to the local pharmacy (via the shortcut through the back door) and they could not have been more helpful. Rezzato is a short distance from Brescia-quite an industrialised town, but not too far from Sirmione-a beautiful town on the banks of Lake Garda. We visited the nearby Mille Muglia car museum which was really good. This hotel is so good I would strongly recommend that visitors to Lake Garda who are planning to hire a car should consider staying at the Villa Fenaroli Palace as a base for touring. You won't regret it!

Room Tip: There are 86 rooms, but they seem to use a core 20 odd. We had a great room overlooking the courtyar...
