A sympathetic landlady, warm and full of laughter. A rather small room (3 beds) but sufficient,, reasonably spacious bathroom (of which the useage of the large mirror in the door opposite the toilet eludes me), all spic & span, one must enter the corridor via an external iron staircase. Outside terrace as well as intern restaurant. That Valentina is of Russian origin can be noticed at the menu, all is home made (even honey) and of exquisit quality, and tasty! Her acclaimed skewers are widely renowned and the tastiest ever eaten!!! The breakfast is not very extensive but includes cheese, herbal cheese, meats, spreads like jams and liver sausage, eggs, yoghurt, etc. If one is searching for a 5* hotel then this is not your cup of thea, if one wants a pleasant stay as well as a great base is „Bei Valentina“ the place to be. Note: the listed 2 km to the city centre is in fact 5 km, too far for a walk towards the historic city centre.
