“Good value and comfortable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 12, 2013

My friends booked this place and we met them there for a couple of nights before our trek on the Haute Route. We had 5 of us and they put us in a nice room that accommodated us all (lots of competition for the 1 bathroom). Just downhill from the place is a train that took us to Chaminox for a bit of shopping and food. Also, there is bus service about 15 minutes away, that took us to the trailhead to begin our trek. The hotel stored out bags (which we had transferred to Zermatt for end of trek). There is a great breakfast buffet included in the price. I think this place primarily caters to travelers like us but it is not a hostel.

We stayed here for the first time a few nights ago, and 'highly' recommend this hotel. We paid a little extra to have the views of Mont Blanc, and were not disappointed. Upon arrival to the room, you drop your luggage and head straight out to the balcony because you have uninterrupted views of the mountains that take your breath away. Just for the view alone the hotel rate is well compensated. The room itself is cosy and well equipped (hairdryer, heaters in bedroom and bathroom, wardrobe, big office desk, small couch, and dressing table) with little extras that can make a long stay here comfortable. I would definitely stay here again, as well recommend this hotel to those who like the little extras of a hotel at a very reasonable rate. I have stayed at other hotels for similar room rates (53 euros) but this one is definitely the best one so far.

Although we didn't dine at this hotel, the lobby and lounge area were impressive. It has the "Chamonix" but more modern feel to it, very cosy and intricately detailed with wooden themed furnishing. We ended up having dinner at "La Caleche" in Chamonix which is a nice and scenic 10 minute drive away. I highly recommend La Caleche and have also written a review on this place.

We have locked this hotel in as our 'home' for the next time we visit Chamonix.

Room Tip: Hotel gets a little noisy in the mornings (house keeping vacuuming) but nothing out of the ordinary...

We booked two rooms at this hotel while traveling by car from Italy to Geneva. The rooms were nice, efficiently laid out, with a modern feel. One of our rooms had a fantastic view of the Mont Blanc. It was a little confusing to find the hotel at first and parking was a little challenging, but not nearly as bad as most other places we drove through in Europe. We enjoyed our short stay there and we would definitely return.

Very scenically located, fabulous views of Mont Blanc mountain range. rooms are good size and very well addressed. Comfortable & relaxing Lounge and Dining areas. stayed one night and will visit again to stay for longer period as the surroundings also offer much to revisit. Chamonix is near-by and is a great attraction too.

Room Tip: Opt for a room overlooking the Mont Blanc mountain range.

We had an overall great experience while staying at the Hotel Les Campanules. Everyone was very friendly and very helpful. The lounge area was very relaxing. We had a room with a great view of Mont Blanc. The spa was most amazing after hiking all day! It was very near the train station and it was really easy to jump on the train and be in Chamonix in just a few minutes.

We stayed here in July for one night and wished we could've stayed longer. The place had a quaint charm about it.
The staff spoke enough english to get by, and were absolutely lovely.
The food was fantastic from their restaurant.
The room was pretty simple and small, but the views were magnificent looking up at the mountains.
